Replacing teams in the Editor

Hi guys,

Just have a quick question regarding replacing teams by setting them as defunct/non existing and setting the new team as a successor manually in the Editor.

I want to try to replace Leeds with a "new" Leeds (crazy idea I had so I wanted to test it out). Will this automatically move all players over to the new team? Will players and team history be carried over? What about 'trained in club' statuses? Or do I have to do all of this manually?

If anyone has experience with this Id be glad to listen. Needless to say I haven't done much else than simple editing in the editor before, but wanna try some "harder" stuff in the future.
