So you could take over on todays date and play out the rest of the season, or take over a few months ago and see if you can hold on to the title as Leicester City or maybe take over in February and see if you've got what it takes to save Aston Villa from relegation.

How to use
1) Unzip the files in: Documents / Sports Interactive / Football Manager 2016 / Editor Data2) Start a new game, select custom and make sure all the files are checked (you should only have one custom start date file, you won't be able to continue if you have two selected)
3) When choosing nations you need to select "sortitoutsi.net Custom Start Date" it's listed under Africa.
4) Set the "MODE" for "sortitoutsi.net Custom Start Date" to "View-only" and make sure you have another playable league such as England that you actually want to play in.
5) Change the start date to use: "sortitoutsi.net Custom Start Date > Start of 2015 Season"
6) Hit "Start Game"
Known Issues
1) Real life championship fixtures are missing2) No cups have real fixtures/results (I currently have no idea how to achieve this)
Full App - Choosing another date
This is just a BETA test of these two dates to find any problems. Soon we'll have a fully featured online app that will let you pick any date from a calendar view and start the game on that date.Poe

hopefully when fully working i can add all my other editor files including real name and your live data update as well as loading other leagues like classan etc...

I don't think it will ever work with Classan etc unfortunately, the files just interfere with each other.

EDIT: There's only one problem for example with the Ballon d'Or, the 2015 awards are all missing.

First of all thank you for this awesome feature ! I wouldn't even dreamed of it
Anyway, I tried to encode the results in Belgium but it messes up the second division (we should have 9 relegates this season but it take only 4).
I tried to change it in the xml but it doesn't seems to work
I would understand if you can't help me but if you have any idea how I could fix this I would be grateful.

So far I haven't figured out how to do cups, i've posted asking for help on various forums and on Twitter, but it seems like nobody knows!

I have been running the game with my own real results for a few years just for my needs and starting a season mid way so a challenge to see if you could keep villa up etc
for your info I have tried all ways to get cup fixtures/results its a no go and this is same for international comps at this stage which is a shame
of interest I have various files I have created for most european nations using advanced rules and dont want to bin these is there a way of getting these rules into my advanced rule files as obviously only 1 set of nation rules per country , the copy /paste option isnt playing and merging is a no go from previous experience
