players missing

can anyone tell me why some players have gone missing from the latest database like kenwyne jones and mikael arteta

I don't know how to rate a player, nor how to add him to the database.

Players are still in the database, it will depend how large a DB you load when you select your leagues, they're not removed from our DB.
