The Welsh side are in the Welsh premiership, the only playable league in Wales, and as the welsh league is probably one of the lower reputation leagues in the game, I figured it was an appropriate place to start to then build up my reputation to go onto bigger and better things..
Wish me luck lads..

To help with cover for the centre midfield area, I brought in 20 year old Ryan Davidson, who has some decent potential, and Gwion ap Dafyyd was another brought in purely to provide cover for this area as well, also having some potential to improve.
I also brought in young striker Sam Rose-Miles, released from Swansea. The 19 year old won't have a starting role very often this season, but shall make several cameo appearences as he will hopefully feature regularly in the future.
Our Europa League campaign lasted all of two matches as we faced KF Tirana, and the Albanian side were simply a much better team than us, beating us very easily in Albania, and also with a degree of comfort in the return leg. I have to say that I had hoped for an easier draw, purely to get some money in, but as soon as I saw the draw I knew we were out. Still, I guess it allows me to focus on the league.
Bring on the league season!

Our league campaign started with a rather bland game of football away to Bala Town, which resulted in our first point of the season with a 0-0 draw in a game where we were defensively very sound, but offered nothing going forward as Bala totally dominated the game. Next up was Newtown, a team who are usually near the bottom of the table, and we came out on top, an early goal joined by 2 in the second half securing a solid win, and the first win of the save. Up next were league favourites TNS, and despite taking the lead into half time, they came out fighting and we were unable to hang on to the lead.Up next were Connah's Quay, and despite outplaying them in every position we were only able to put one goal past them, but one was enough to secure the win. The next game against Afan Lido was a shocker. Both sides had just one shot on target: theirs went in, ours didn't and so they took the win. We bounced back with a win against Carmarthen, a game which we dominated completely, and a Luke Bowen Double was enough to see us through.A disappointing away draw with Prestatyn was to follow this, before we played appallingly against Haverfordwest in the Premier League Cup, and were lucky to get to penalties so I suppose it is justice that we were put out on these. Draws against Airbus, Bangor City and Port Talbot followed this, before we rounded up the first half of our season with a solid 2-0 win against Aberystwyth.
All of that means that after 11 games, we sit 2nd in the table behind runaway leader TNS. However, this league is one of the tightest I've seen and a couple of dropped points could see us fall into a relegation dogfight. We also need to address our away form as if we want to be genuine title contenders then picking up just 3 points from a possible 15 on the road is unacceptable.
