Chichester City FC are a small club from the ninth tier of English football. They also happen to be my home town, I tried this in FM17 however we only got as far as league 2 before I had no more time to play, now I have more time again, its time to try again, make Chichester City UEFA Champions League winners! I chose my local team as I find it easier to form attachment to the save and therefore want to play it more, I would play as the team I support, Liverpool, however I like longer saves with the Challenge, and Liverpool is a little too easy for my liking. So Chichester it is! I have designed some kits for Chichester, only 2D kits for the club screen, as you will see below. I may decide to change these later on in the journey, but for now, this is our kit.
Home -
Away -
These are based roughly on the kits used by Chichester FC, however I cannot find an image anywhere of them using an Away kit in real life, the game gives them a yellow and blue one for 3D, so that is the colours we use. The home kit is accurate as I can make it.
I shall keep the posts shorter all the while we are just a Semi-Pro time going up the leagues, unless something else happens. I have posted a few screenshots on the season overview. There is no notable transfers as all players are non-contract, meaning my best players I kept losing all season. The other notable things to mention is I am now favoured personnel of Chichester City having helped them to their 7th ever Trophy, also the 7th Southern Combination Premier Division Trophy.
Next season will be a challenge, only a couple of the player we have are good enough to play in tier 8, so a big overhaul to the team will be happening, I will also be improving the scouting team, and more than likely the coaching team, as they are the ones I first appointed, and we could now easily do better. My main concern right now is that promotion is not cheap, and Chichester are not rich, so we are currently around £30,000 in debt. This will probably be the case until we hit League 2 or League 1, due to limited prize money but cost to try and run a club vs much richer ones.
The next update, unless something otherwise happens, shall be at the end of the 2018/19 season.

We are now ten games in to the new season, and despite thinking I would only update at the end of the season until we became a professional side, I have decided to do a little update ten games in to the new season, to show you the team we have, the dynamics of the squad, and also our position in the table, as well as my contract.
Firstly, this is the team we are working with, of course we can make more signings however this is a decent team, the 2 star of players such as Nathan Daly shouldn't be taken on its low rating, as he is rated as a good player for the eighth tier, so we are in a good place and arguably have a squad that could put up a good fight in the seventh tier. Below is the current dynamic of the squad, as you can tell, we lack leaders but we have done since the first year, and honestly its a miracle to even have a highly influential player. The social groups are also included.
Secondly, the results we have achieved so far with this squad? Well I am pleased with them, the table will speak for itself, and I will also show you the first 10 games of our season. My only complaint is we are weak in the goalkeeper position, our GK is a sweeper, and is awful as a standard keeper, and our defence isn't to sure how to handle a sweeper keeper. Saying this, for the lack of finance we have, Boal does a fine job in goal.
Finally, my contract. As you can surely tell, I did get one extension, as I am still in the job, a deal until 30/06/2019. I however decided that I would ask the board for another, a few months after the extension, and asked it to show the players they are trusting in me. Fortunately for me they granted this with a £25 per week pay rise too, which is good for my job security. My deal now expires on 30/06/2020, I expect to be able to renew this further due to past success, and when I sign a new deal I will update you.
This other image below is just to show you the league stats so far, in case you are also doing a save like this and want to find some decent players.
