Palermo chooses as manager Sir Miguel Angelo

As a huge surprise, Palermo's management has appointed a virtually unknown Portuguese manager, who has so far no experience in similar positions.

Will the first league raise? Had Sir Miguel Angelo returned to the big stages? We'll see how this new stage runs for the new Palermo manager.

Palermo has 4 Serie B, 2 Lega Pro Prima, 1 Coppa Italia di Serie C, 1 Serie c2 / D and an 1 Italian C / H Series.
As you can see the club does not have many titles and those that count are not with great recognition.

These are the expectations that the club will have:

They want the promotion by winning the league and in the TIM Cup competition decides that we could reach the first round.

As for the budget I will have about 2 million and 780 thousand euros for transfers and 1 million, 395 thousand and 345 euros for salaries.

Not a lot of money but with some sales I can get some young and good players on loan.

The pre-season has been going on and before that I have made some evaluations to the squad, like for example: to see the players who have less quality in the establishment and to send away and to reinforce the positions that have less choices or that need of more quality.

As the transfer money is not much decides to hire players by loan.

João Carvalho, a 20-year-old with great technical quality, excellent as a play-off player, of all transfers maybe the most margin of progression. A phenomenal player.

Ewandro, a 21-year-old very good as an extreme and advanced inside that can also make number nine in the attacking position.

Federico Dimarco, 19 years old player who already has a good quality for his age. Good left back defense offensively and defensively that will give us a good way.

Pre-Season

A pre-season, very good, with very accessible teams. The best game was against the club Castelvetro where we left with a victory by 6-0. Highlight for forwad Nestorovski who scored five goals in that game.

Improve pre-season players:

Number 9 - Ilija Nestorovski
Number 25 - João Carvalho
Number 18 - Ivaylo Chochev

In general everyone has a good pre-season but these 3 in particular, stood out more.

During the pre-season there was also the 2nd qualifying round and the 3rd qualifying round of the TIM Cup.

First match in this competition
We dominated the game completely but the pre-season was still in the beginning and there was still not much familarization to the tactics and the players still had no rhythm. We came out with a win for 2-1 and we managed to pass the 3rd stage. Do not forget that it was intended to reach the first round.

Second game in this competition
For the club that was drawn against us, I thought it would be more difficult than the previous one but the players had the time and left with an impressive victory for 6-1. A game very effectively on the part of Palermo.

With this we reach the 4th qualifying round of TIM CUP. In a draw that counted on great teams we had the luck of being able to us one of the facile clubs of the lottery

I do not withdraw the merit and quality to the Pro Vercelli club but before the draw, it would have been the best for us.
