Editor search problems

Hi I have just gone back to play FM13 after a few months break and when I load up the editor the search bar has disappeared completely. I can load database and the find player/club/nation etc is still showing down the left hand side however the search bar that is usually at the right is not there anymore meaning i cant search for anything at all.
I have tried changing from window to full mode, re installing etc but nothing works.

Any ideas on what the problem could be?
