ABOUT ME

My name is Pedro Warmling and I am a 33 years old German manager. I was born in Heiligenhafen, a town in North Germany, my father was a Danish football player, that's why I'm half German and half Danish. The city of Kiel is only 1 hour driving from Heiligenhafen, so I started my football career there when I was 11 years old. My father always took me to the trainings and he supported me with everything I needed, thanks to him I became a professional player when I was 17 years old in the club I learned to love, Kiel. Unfortunately I did not last long in professional football career that's why you might not have heard about me. I suffered an injury playing against St. Pauli in 2007, at that time we were playing the fourth division in Germany, I was only 22 years old and had to retire from professional football.
But that did not kept away from the pitch, I started to study to become a manager and worked as an assistant manager in Holstein Kiel, Erzgebirge Aue, 1860 Munich and as Under 19s manager in Bayern Munich. So when Markus Anfang got an offer from FC Köln to become their manager, Steffen Schneekloth, our president called me and said he wanted me as the new manager of Holstein Kiel. So here I am, excited to begin my work and write my name in history.
