Thanks. Nope, they didn't. Nothing's changed, finances I don't believe are atrocious but no transfer budget to speak of.

It is! Even though it can be massively frustrating at times, I kinda like it as it keeps it pretty realistic - you won't see me winning the Libertadores anytime soon! I'd certainly recommend managing in South America, it's nice to branch out and try different leagues on FM.

Diego Forlán, who is set to retire soon, scored our goal in what looks like his final match as a player. I say 'looks' as I've asked him to reconsider, as you can see below (even at 40) most his attributes are still on the rise; great experience to have around, too.
By the end of 2019, we finished 10th in the regular season table but went one better and placed 9th in the average points table, finishing well above the drop.
A: Here's the board confidence and squad dynamics. I'm liked, which is nice:

Good to hear, thanks Dan! Hoping it won't just be the only decent season with the club, need to build on it.

Looking forward to what next season has to offer!

Thanks! I hope so, I've personally rarely seen a player reconsider - he wouldn't be a key member of the team next season, but would like for him to be one of the key squad players who plays when needed. He does want to be an assistant manager or coach, so could get him to stay that way. We'll see!
Indeed. Hopefully I can get a few good players for low fees in the upcoming window. Definitely staying, not sure for how long - ideally keep building year on year. I never put any aims on my Journeyman saves - mainly because I'm not good enough to make them happen - I just see what occurs, just as happy to stay at a club long-term than I am to move about regularly.

Cool man, I try to have some direction with what I want to do or where I want to go. Looking forward to your next steps.

A: First up: Transfers. Right-back Milton Ramos, left winger Brian Scalco, forward Jonathan Castellanos, goalkeeper Juan Falchi (perm.) and forward Ricardo Bueno all joined. Goalkeeper Diego Soria was the only notable departure.
B: Back to last season, here's the season review - where we were announced as the biggest overachievers.
C: As soon as the season ended, I went on my second coaching course - which I passed just before pre-season began. Nice timing.
D: Here's the 2019 season's awards. Marcos Lyford Pike cleaned up, sadly he has missed much of pre-season due to injury - as has 'keeper Juan Falchi.
E: Here's the 2020 season's expectations. Same as last year, I'm hoping for that as a bare minimum. However, my current contract ends in June, so I may not even be at the club at the end of the campaign - hopefully I will be.
F: Diego Forlán turned me down, therefore choosing to retire. He could've added something for us, but if his head wasn't going to be in it then there was no point. Two forwards have been signed in his place.
G: Lastly, some exciting news for the club: a new stadium is being planned. El Tanque Sisley currently play in Florida but their spiritual home is over in Montevideo, where the new stadium would be built. Long time away, it seems.

A damning assessment of my managerial ability! I didn't want him to stay anyway...
