3D match lagging at random times

This is an issue that I have tried a number of things to fix but can not for the life of me figure out a solution. My FM2013 was running perfectly but ever since installing patch 13.2.2 I play a match and then at some point (usually in the second half but varies) the match will lag to the point where I can't understand what's going on for 10-20 mins of game time and then it will go back to normal. It is starting to get a little frustrating especially in those tense games that could affect the outcome of a season and need full concentration.

I have tried clearing the cache, deleting unnecessary files, reinstalling the game on steam and a few other things but nothing seems to help. I have all the face packs and logos but I don't think that's the issue as it was working fine before 13.2.2 patch. Anyway if someone could come up with a solution to this puzzle it would be greatly appreciated.

Once in a while I have sort of the same problem. The game freezes just before a goal is scored and than quickly go further. Indeed anoying. Don't have a solution for it.

That is strange. Was it always like that or did it just start happening?
