Contract issue

Hi guys, having an issue with a player contract and don't know what to do.

player wanted first team action, was told to add something to his game to get first team action. he managed it. in my manager promises it says he still has 43 days left to complete to get action even though he has done it. he has also played the entire season as starting goal keeper. but now with 43days left he is going to sign for another team and leave for free and refuses to discuss a contract. is there anything i can do? is this a glitch?

Only way to resolve in your save is by using FMRTE or an ige to extend his contract or clear his unhappiness etc
