Succession Game

3 players nominated for the Ballon d'Or. Adams is our best chance but still some way off I think.

Just not our day, send off an injury, played short just shocking.

Adams had fired us into a very strong position until Svoboda inexplicably passed the ball straight to the Milan striker who nailed it into the corner. This wasn't off a back pass or a clearance either it was from a fucking goal kick. I have never seen that.

Making it hard for ourselves but temporarily hold first place.

Utterly disappointed with this performance. The first 3 goals were all free kicks and the penalty was a soft one as we had plenty of numbers around the ball. Not good especially as we are chasing Man Shitty for the title.

Back to putting the weaker teams away but I feel as though Adams still isn't getting enough chances, I am going to make a slight positional change and push our advanced playmaker up, hopefully links a bit better between the midfield and Adams.

Had to put this in, this kid while it looks like might have potential has absolutely nothing going for him in the attributes department atm. He has just set the record for youngest premier league goal scorer, he did it away at Man City. He has also played 6 games so far for Arsenal in the prem. Quite impressive.

Hard to gauge the effect of my little tweak, Watson who played in the more advanced role played a great game with a 7.8 and the first assist. It was our mr reliable Adams who played a shocker, in the 5's when I pulled him off. Dubuc got a knock and was playing in the 5's also so off he came. The Moroccan Messi was our savior and nearly stole the game in the 85th minute.

Based off Watson's performance I will stick with it for a couple more games, we have QPR at home next but West Brom controlled the ball really well on the flanks and our wide men really struggled.

Our first goal was a beauty to watch, Dubuc runs from inside our own half on the left, weaving through players all the way to the right side of the box to offload to Moha just to his right to whip back to the left for Adams. We are still struggling on the flanks and that is how their goal came about, I need to find a way to rectify it.

Man City lost their first game of the season and so we are 4 points clear but they have two games in hand.

Tired legs and 4 players out injured. We are very thin, I still don't think we have the squad big enough to win the title but at least we aren't losing these games.

Edit: Make that 5 out, Watson gone for 2 weeks after the game.

Made a tough decision here, we only had two playable players from the reserves and they both started, the rest of the team were fringe first teamers. The starting squad really needed a rest and I want to push for that title.

Wasn't a bad effort really. I've also offered two contracts for players.

Got both players on pre contracts I wanted. One is a dm from Gladbach, will be a good rotation player especially come the january period when Yamauchi is on international duty.

The other is an AMC/ST who will be rotated with Watson if we decide to stick with him in the advanced role.

Solid win, got some players back from injury and the players are a bit fresher. Temporarily back to first place, Man City have lost their second game this season but have a game in hand still.

Coulda been 6 or 7 had a couple disallowed and the keeper got some great saves in.

Huge draw in a game they dominated. We are two points clear but they have a game in hand.

That would be fucking right. Can feel the title slipping away but hopefully Itchy get's us on the winning path again. I have one game to go before handing over.

Shit game but good win, Man City got done firstly by Huddersfield in the Cup then Leeds in the league. Our 2 point lead is restored but they have a game in hand however I think the fixture congestion they are enduring gives us slight favoritism heading into the final third of the comp.

I'm away for the weekend. Will start playing monday morning.

In the last day of the transfer window I sold Fjeldheim for 11 M to AC Milan. He was a good player, but would never be a starter as long as Adams is around, and we made a hefty profit of him. We also have Barrios, Daniels, Özcelik and Linuesa (who has scored 22 goals in the Championship for Sheff Utd)

As City also lost their game after this, we can claim we won one point. We are now three points clear, with the same number of matches played. But it really sucks that we didn't win after Adams two early goals.

Two early goals again, only this time we kept it together.
Next fixtures: Inter, Chelsea, Man U, Inter, Arsenal.

The board still don't think we need to expand our 12 000 seat stadium...

What assholes, and a tough run of fixtures there hopefully you can lead us to glory.

Well, how about that! I was happy when we equalized in the 76 minute, then we took the lead in the 84:th and I went into defensive mode. But after a free kick two minutes later Paulista headed home the 5-3 gaol, and Adams completed his hat trick by scoring the rebound of his own penalty.

That feels rather unfair. We could definitely do with a more ambitious board...

But look at this! This is actually a half decent player that has come from our ranks!

A decent result, especially since City lost again.

As we lost 2-1 in Milan (forgot to post that) all we needed was a 1-0 victory at home. And we really should have scored some more, but it was enough. Now we have City in the next round. But that's something for Cymro to do as my time is up.

With 7 matches to go we have a 6 point lead over Man City. That should be enough, right?

It's not enough, just keep winning games and you'll be champions. Good luck lads.

Ended my stint undefeated. Very proud of the team and how far the club has come since we first started. Long journey it has been.
