The journey begins, welcome comrades!

Loaded leagues, since FM20 touch is quite limited you can only choose three nations. Let’s call this a poor mans journeyman or the commuting tzar. Included Russia because..well Moscow is the goal! We’re not stopping until we reached the top league in mother Russia.

Mikhail Leshchev born in the outskirts of Minsk in 1952, avid supporter of the mighty Dinamo Minsk.

As Mikhail puts out his last cigarette on the wet concrete away section after yet another disappointing season for his dear Dinamo Minsk, he mutters to himself that he played better than this bunch of sissies, it’s been almost 40 years since he played football on a national level.
After getting the boot from Volna Pinsk , because of him loosing his physique because of his many substances abuse, he also fell deeper into heavy gambling. Sitting on bus 147 towards his apartment complex, an old concrete high rise were the slowly fading facade was slowly deteriorating. He sits down at his small table in the kitchen and reach out for today’s newspaper and a pack of smokes...Blyat...I’m out of smokes again.

He opens the newspaper and turns to the job section...



Well let’s see what we can apply for here, I’ll update when some type of job offer is on the table.

We’re starting of in the Romanian league Liga II with ASC Daco-Getica București, formerly known as Juventus București

“After relegating from Liga I at the end of their first season in the top flight of the Romanian football, the club was forced to change its name after being summoned by Juventus Torino to remove the word "Juventus". Thus, from the summer of 2018 the side is known as ASC Daco-Getica București”

Anfield? Old Trafford? Camp Nou? Please this is Stadionul Colentina, a 6000 seater with those beautiful communist high rises in the background! This will be holy ground for our Romanian fighters in a couple of years!



The board is clear on the goals and future of this club, avoid relegation and stay in Liga II...forever. Great optimism in this club, let’s hope for a chance to get promoted in the future at least.


The current main squad, the depth is...unreal. Luckily we have a youth team with great potential! I think we got a shot at building something here, our facilities for youth development are “below average” so I’m not saying hooray just yet...

€830 in the bank, €0 transfer budget and pretty much no more room for any more wages, truly remarkable. Economy was “Ok” according to the game. Let’s make another goal for ourselves and not let the club go completely bankrupt trying to stay alive in this league.

Great idea for a save, should have waited to include the other additional leagues (Kazakhstan, Estonia, Latvia etc.)

Sadly, those leagues do not exist on FM20 Touch, if I had more free time I would have done this one on my PC, but real life sadly calls way too often. Now I can manage my semi-professional romanian team even when I'm in the bathroom, commuting or just slacking off work.

If I keep the story up until the end, I'll make a longer PC version one with even more eastern european leagues.

First two months update!

We kicked of the season very early, the season in Romania starts in august, but we headed out in the snow in February to take a look at what we got to play with. I don’t know why I thought a friendly vs Levski Sofia was a good idea, I blame it on all the lager that night.



It was a very rough start as we barely kept up with our young reserve squad, first game I blamed it on “first game of the year” but when the second one rolled around and we were down by a goal until the 80th minute mark, it was time to do some changes.
Switched back to a 4-4-2 formation and started scouting our reserve team for any potential that could go straight to the senior team, no we don’t have a U-19 team, the youngsters play in the reserve squad.

I needed another striker since nobody could help out at the top, that’s when I called up Alexe, this is how desperate the situation is in the team. We call up a 17 year old striker to make sure we won’t get relegated this year. (Media prediction 19th).


But oh boy are we happy we did, even with a two star rating he is currently our top scorer, really great performance from him during the friendlies, even against teams from the league above us he is shining! And he’s locked up until 2022.
Ludogrets II , a team in the division above us did not even stand a chance, I know it’s early and wins against better teams don’t really mean too much. But it brought back some hope of surviving this season!



I guess the owner of the club finally got rid of that coke so he could help out his club a bit..
Still nothing for the transfer budget and the wage budget is capped, the money will be gone before our first Liga II game.




Since we’re a long way from starting the season, I’ll keep this updated with the progress of the players.
For now the biggest problem is the depth, set pieces against us and the fact that 1/2 of our team are youngsters. They look like hobbits running around on the field and throwing themselves at 95kg beasts from Levski Sofia. I guess I don’t have to mention the heading ability of this team...

Next: A look at the Important players that will keep this club alive

As you can see, a bunch of my key players are on loan from other clubs, I’m hoping we can keep these for next year. Loan or contract. We need to assemble a comfortable squad for the next couple of seasons if we’re going to stay in this league.

Now the introduction and pre season posts will be over for now, I’ll start posting again after we played our first month of real games.
