I’ve always favoured tactics without and attacking midfielder behind the striker. Normally opt for a DM/DLP for more defensive support.

However just joined a new club and they have an amazing AMC. Tried loads of different options, Shadow striker, Attacking midfielder, Advance playmaker and mixed up the instructions but can’t get anything out of him. He’s to good to sell and would love him to be part of my team.

Does anyone have any tips or advice on how to get the best out of this position?

Thanks

If you want to make him your main player in the game, make sure you support him with players around. Players on AM position can be easily isolated when they are facing two DM's. Striker on support duty will help a lot but also other players need to play a role, BBM is important there as well.
AM (a) is always the best option since you have several options to change his movement depending on opponent you're facing. (move into channels, roam, etc.).
