It’s going to be another weekend of fascinating Premier League action this weekend, with crucial matches up and down the league which could go a long way to deciding European places and who stays up.

For all the betting men out there, Manchester United remain the title favourites with Unibet following that defeat in the Manchester derby last Monday, as they prepare for a tough game away to Stoke City on Sunday.

Stoke have only lost three matches at home all season and the Britannia Stadium is one of the most difficult grounds to go to in the country because of the loud and hostile atmosphere which is created.

There are five 3pm kick-offs on Saturday starting with Arsenal against Norwich City. The Gunners should be looking to maintain their push for a top four finish although three points for Norwich could take them up to 11th place in the table.

Aston Villa have a very crucial home game against Fulham as they look to stay in the Premier League. Villa are currently in 16th place and another win would take them onto 36 points and move them higher up the league table.

They should be very confident because Fulham have a poor goal difference of minus ten away from home this season and they have failed to win away matches on 13 different occasions.

QPR are clutching at straws as they head to Everton, who are currently in sixth place behind Arsenal. QPR are on 24 points with only Reading below them, they have won only two away games all season.

Reading have the daunting prospect of hosting a Liverpool team, which is chasing automatic qualification into Europe next season. Reading are eight points away from safety and seem confined to another season in the Championship while Liverpool can move onto the same number of points as Everton.

Southampton’s match against West Ham United is one of the most intriguing with both clubs mid-table and on 37 points. This is a very important match for both teams because a win for either takes them to the 40 point mark which is normally enough to ensure a team stays up.

There are just two matches on Sunday with that massive derby between Newcastle United and Sunderland kicking things off.

Newcastle can move onto 39 points and they will be confident because their home form this season has been superb, as they seek out their tenth win in front of their fans this season.

Sunderland have only won three matches this season and they are teetering above the drop zone at the moment, which should be extremely worrying. Newcastle would love nothing better than to send their local rivals into the bottom three.
