Been playing FIFA 14 a bit recently and this has been one of the biggest annoyances, particularly when defending.

Nothing worse than having a defender there to cover a through ball of some sort only for your defender to just stop during switching players and leaving the attacker clean through.

You can fix that in settings

Yes, it fixes the players standing still after you switch to them

Pretty sure that happened last year too, theres a setting whether you want them to carry on moving or something similar

Yeah same, I was messing around with the settings like above and it feels better at the moment. It's frustrating that I'm not as good on 14 as 13.

Had one game with the new settings before though and destroyed someone.

Finally got this on the PS4 yesterday and maybe its just me taking some time to get used to it but i'm really not enjoying the games, just seems like i'm conceding goals because of dodgy animations and not because i get opened up.

Just wondering if anyone else found it the same at first and is it just a case of getting used to it?

I've gone back to passing goal kicks when trying to skip replays again, surely start or select or something should be the button to skip stuff so then it doesn't interfere.

Loads of annoying animations as you mentioned, things like players just standing with the ball instead of taking a throw and taking ages to actually pick the ball up, seems to be plenty of off-the-ball blocking stuff as well which is really annoying

Does anyone play the Pro Clubs thing? Decided to be different and make my guy a centrehalf but got kicked off the last club I joined when I fucked up a few times (blame the defence syndrome).

Next gen also sucks not having creation centre and a separate tournament offline mode.

Anyone played the World Cup Demo?

Tried it for two games and it feels a bit better than Fifa 14. Bit refreshing, the animations look nice. Still a lot of shit things like the constant off the ball blocking but step in right direction.

Also very realistic. England are shit.

Got beat by Brazil 3-0.
