Spam PMs - 14th December 2020

This is just an announcement to say that we are aware of spam PMs that have been sent out from the site.

We are working to resolve the issue. Here are a few key points:

(1) This was simply a spam message saying "visit this horrible site xxx.com" sent via PM. Nobody has compromised our systems, no personal data has been leaked and all the messages have been deleted preventing anyone from clicking the links.

(2) We apologise for allowing this to happen, we have now implemented a cooldown feature which prevents people from sending many messages in a short amount of time and will continue monitoring and improving this side of things.

(3) Having all the PMs send out email notifications to people has clogged up our systems meaning some people won't have received activation emails, or their premium membership may have not have been activated. I'm working on resolving this now, I appreciate your patience.

The backlog of activation emails and paypal payment processing should now have been cleared. If you're continuing to have issues PM me your Paypal Email Address.
