I'll start by saying this, I'm not absolutely going to grind this thing. Not happening.
For instance I do have the In-Game Editor and I'm going to use it lol (In a semi realistic way tho, I'm not bringing freaking Messi to Marine and something like that, just for the little things )
Look at this not as a FM normal career, more like as a movie about a football team that starts in a non-pro league and makes its way up to the Premier League, as it's my ultimate goal.
I have the NEWGAN facepack for Newgens (yes it works on FM20 too) so every Newgen has a realistic face to make the game better, and I'm using the FLUT skin dark version.
that's about all.
Welcome to Marine's journey to the top.
Starting with the key players for the Team:
Aart Barratt: i love this dude, he's a newgen, from my U23s, and he's an absolute stud. He got few nationalities (I added Japanese cause he had so much potential and I absolutely wanted my star player to be Japanese, even added Hiroshi as his second name), so in the future he could decide to represent the nation he wants.
He started a bit slow, coming off the bench, as a 20 yrs old, and eventually became a key piece to the team: he's tall, fast, hell of a athlete, I'm not going to let him go anytime soon.
Michael Howard: real life Marine player, how tf is he at this level? He can play bunch of positions (and he plays GOOD at every of them) , a bit inconsistent, fast and athletic, very young, tall, I play him as a Left Winger, and boy he repays the 26K wage in style. Last Game he got hurt unfortunately, we'll miss him dearly.
Charlie Ball: Former Everton Youth player, very fast, alittle inconsistent, a real danger inside the box, as his 18 goals as of today show, and even cheap. He strangely wanted to leave 2 weeks after I brought him in for lack of midfielders, but when i bought Jacob Gardiner-Smith (he was unexpectedly released) he requested to stay and became a key piece.
This has been the starting XI for the most of the season, really strong group
we've been perfect in the League as our goal was to avoid relegation, we actually are on top, with 18 wins, 1 draw and 0 losses.
Surprised everybody in the FA Cup, as we are in the Third Turn and have to play against Norwich, after absolutely destroying Plymouth with my surprise as i was like “F- it I'm going all'in", ”very attacking", full pitch pressing, only long passes, they couldn't keep up and we managed to score 5, (I'm still shocked it actually worked)
Lost in the FA Trophy but i couldn't care less, and the Integro League Cup, WTF is even that? Even the board doesn't care about it, but if we win it, hey it's still a trophy.
