The data update is back live again 🙂

Sorry it took so long, SI made 17,000 changes between March 10 and April 1 so it's much easier to just close for those 20 days than try and create our own changes during that time and then merge them together later.

But as far as i'm aware there are not going to be any more updates to FM26 ever again so now it's all on us 💪

Hi, the changes show in game but when I open the editor none of the changes are visible in there. I try to bring it up by going to File, Load Editor Data but nothing is showing in there. How do I pull the update through into the editor so I can make some edits to some of the new players that have been added?

@deacon87 what edits do you want to make, ideally we'd make it possible to add them here after all it's a collaborative update.

I've changed the FM24 update from building every 20 minutes to building every 60 minutes, apologies for that, the server has been undergoing some stress recently and i'm trying to investigate causes and reduce the load its under.

The fm26 update will continue to update every 20 minutes.

Acknowledging - I can replicate this. I've flagged to the site admin - it'll get looked at and sorted ASAP.

Injuries are not it's been on the todo list for a while but unfortunately has yet to be implemented.

buongiorno, quando uso l' editor pre-game sul vostro database (contract) un messaggio dice che è stato utilizzato un vecchio database e non quello di partenza 16.2.0.. E' cosi? il vostro database CONTRACTS è sul vecchio database o sul 26.0.2?

Hi, You're possibly already aware but it seems all the set piece coaches are showing as chairperson on the FM26 data update. Ive attached the people ive checked and the pre game editor with the contracts File and all show as chairperson. 

Hopefully you can mass edit all the setpiece coaches 🙂

Just to be clear this is a SI bug not an extraction bug, it's best fixed by the usual submission method.

Would it be possible to check the Provincial leagues in Belgium? I've noticed some errors here in the clubs and the divisions. For a perfect overview we have this site in Belgium for this: https://www.vbal4.be/p0103.htm

@Dario Neyts can you give some more specific examples? Just saying “I have seen some errors” but then not describing them and expecting other people to figure it out themselves from a screenshot is going to slow things down alot.

It's not clear if you're saying that every single league is wrong or if there are just a few mistakes within each league.

Why is there no Changes.fmf file anymore in the data update for FM24? No matter what editor data I load in the pre game editor it seems to be the vanilla, day 1, database I'm looking at. Am I missing something?

The file was renamed - some time ago now. The equivalent main file, which contains all of the transfers, is named Contracts.fmf (sortitoutsi.net FM24 Data Update - Contracts.fmf to give it its full name).

Please note: all of the newly-created player records are in the New People.fmf file (sortitoutsi.net FM24 Data Update - New People.fmf).

Hi, when i open de contracts file with the pre-game editor it says that it was saved last time from and older data base. Could this be a problem?.

This should not be an issue. Site Admin will be able to confirm definitively - but the process for creating that file is automated so I suspect it is just a ‘warning’ based on how it is generated. It fundamentally works and if everything is working in-game I would just pay no attention to that warning/error.

Hi Yeah so i believe this is not even from Sortitoutsi but i can't find where i've got it from but i have a Datafile called België which contains the lower divisions but all the teams are scrambled. Provincial teams from the Flemmish side are mixed in with Walloon teams which contradicts the whole Provincial competitions. So firstly i'm not sure if the database actually contains these leagues normally (would be great if they would) and secondly to list all would be a big search. I would love to list it all but then it would be more handy to tell me how to best list everything.

Attatched i've put the “FM24 Chielen's Total Belgian Lower League Overhaul” as refference as to what i'm looking for in FM26. If this is easyly adjusted for FM26 please show me how. 

The 2nd file is the file i'm talking about as i believe this is where the Provincial leagues are located.

In the FM26 official database, there are six levels of Belgium represented. Level 5 (Belgian Third Amateur Division, which comprises the VV & ACFF divisions) is the bottom level that has ‘accurate’ team assignments.

Level 6 is represented by one regional ‘division’ for each of 11 regions. However, the teams assigned into each of those regional divisions are all of the teams from that regional pyramid, as best I can tell from a quick look. For example, Antwerpen Provincial Division contains 116 teams.

Building out a fully-playable lower set of levels in Belgium would be a fair bit of work. I'm personally not in a position to do it as I haven't made the switch to FM26, yet. I have done some of the FM24 league expansions that are part of this site's data update - but the work gets exponentially bigger as you move into regional competitions with lots of teams.

Okay understandable, the question i have is how do you develope these leagues normally, is this with XML files or with the FM editor, or both? For example is someone is willing i would be fully available to provide the data in Excell or some other format that is needed so that this part of the time consuming job would be covered

It is all done via the Pre-Game Editor - which has all of the options/variables available to set things up.

It seems like access to the data is pretty available online (i.e. which teams are in which divisions). Whilst that's time-consuming, it's easy. Information about the format could be helpful - if you have a source to information about how those leagues are structured, their schedule, how promotions/relegations work etc?

I am happy to add it to the list but I can't promise a timeline.

Now i am willing to do this myself but i don't have experience in how to setup the correct path for all the changes or the additions and how to execute everything correctly so that all works and keeps working. I assume there is no manual or instruction video or something on how you guys actually work your magic here? 

Wanted to start a new save & all the top teams (and more) are without a director of sport, they are often moved to the board or just missing alltogether. Christoph Freund (Bayern munich) is only a board member for example. Is this intended? It's caused by the contracts file 

That's not intentional, SI have broken something to do with directors and set piece coaches in the latest update.

They haven't responded to the bug report on their forums yet.

Talking about fm24 actually, so I'm not sure if that's the reason. I also wanted to check the file in the pre game editor but sadly it just freezes when I'm trying to search for one of the changes that were made… I loaded a game only with contracts.fmf checked and it still happens so it's not cause of conflicting editor data or something like that.

Christoph Freund was changed to be a Technical Director. I've no personal knowledge of Bayern Munich to know if this is correct or not.

Can you be more specific about other people where this is happening?

Hmm it might be a conscious and correct choice my bad, I just found it confusing to have barely any real directors everywhere since I am used to it.

In vanilla there are a couple more like Campos (PSG) Begiristaiin (mancity) Schmadtke (liverpool) schröder (leipzig) ashworth (newcastle), but it appears they moved on to different roles nowadays. I guess barely any teams use a director of sports anymore. Sorry for wasting ur time! 

@Kashi0 it seems like FM26 has messed things up a bit see this thread on the official forums 

I realise we're talking about FM24 but we try and apply our internal database to both FM24 and FM26 so it does affect things.

I'm investigating but it's not a quick fix, hopefully <1 week though.

Hi, im having a little trouble since ive installed the FM24 update, can anyone shed some light on maybe any of the files could be corrupted? 

my issue being, everything works fine except for when i click on Training > Rest the page doesnt load and slightly crashes, now i loaded my old save on my old database from the FMScout update and no problems, everything works so i can only assume its something ive done setting up my new save with this new update from your website?
