MacBook air issues

Good morning guys

 

I am not the most tech savvy, however have followed all your guides and have added all the lower UK leagues, kits, badges which has worked a treat.  When I install the players faces, it will not work for whatever reason despite following the steps.   I am running the FM23 game on a MacBook air with 1.6GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 (Turbo Boost up to 2.7GHz) with 3MB shared L3 cache.  

 

The faces don't appear in the game and the game will not load upon restarting.  It stays on the FM23 loading screen.

 

I am contemplating upgrading to an iMac in order to get the best experience from the game.  Does anybody know the minimum requirements?  I am looking at an iMac now which is running on 1 x Intel Core i5 (4th Gen) 3.4 GHz (3.8 GHz) (Quad-Core).  

 

As stated I am not tech savvy, but I understand that this processor is bigger than mine currently so feel that it may be a better option.  

 

Any advice would be massively appreciated.

Did you tick the boxes correctly in the game settings for reloading skins?
