Pardew has fallen out with him apparently.

Bollocks refereeing. Giroud fouls Sissoko then throws himself, and Ozil looked offside.

Newcastle havent't been that bad. Just the commentators are fucking horrendously biased.

You have been pretty awful though.

Pardew doesn't really make excuses. I don't think he's moaned about a decision all season. He's said, 'I take full responsibility' the last few weeks as well

Newcastle havent been that bad. Haven't created much, but neither has Arsenal, aside from Debuchy fucking up to let Giroud through and a header from a corner.

No worse than an average premier league performance.

I wonder what odds you'd get on a Newcastle relegation next season. They are truly terrible, but at least they didn't concede as many as they did last season at Arsenal.

None of Arsenal's goals should of stood.

Also amazing Newcastle can simultaneously play with a high line whilst sitting deep.

Fair play to Neville, for pointing most of the blame for the first goal should go to the players who missed the header, rather than Sissoko, although ruined his goodwill for being horrendously patronising towards Newcastle fans.

We were actually the better team for the first 60-odd minutes in that 7-3, then Arsenal took advantage of the fact they hadn't played on Boxing Day and ran riot against a tired defence.

Today, not so much. But then poor performances have become second nature this year. The inevitable departure of our few high-quality players is going to hurt.

Probably your most ridiculous comment - and you've made a few. http://www.espnfc.com/blog/_/name/newcastleunited/id/1902?cc=5739

Is it possible to code something into the site Rob? I want every time a full time whistle goes in a newcastle game "Pardew out, Newcastle are awful" Getting bored of posting it.

I remember Newcastle fans also being infuriated by Souness, Roeder and Allardyce's excuses as well.

Headlines aren't really reflective of things people actually say., and none of those headlines actually include a quote. Today he had a golden chance to try and completely blame the officials and didn't.

He took responsibility for the defeat last week, and the week before. And this week rather than attempt to deflect blame, Pardew himself brought up this was the 6th defeat in a row. Pardew excuses is almost completely fan made, as a go to criticism.

I don't like Pardew, and there is fucking countless legitimate reasons to want him sacked. But excuses isn't one of them.

The article I posted contains quotes with excuses in them.

In Pardew's interview today he said we played quite well. So he might be drunk today or something hence the lack of excuses.

Excuses are annoying, but they're pretty much just symptomatic of the bigger picture.

I wouldn't have given two shits what Moyes said to the media if he was winning football matches, and I'm sure the same is true for you and Pardew.

Most of the quotes will be along the lines of "we had a few out today, and it aint helped us", "we wuz a bit tired today, the Europa aint helped us"

One of the articles posted seems to be Pardew blaming himself, whilst Charlton manager for making changes for a cup game.

Also what's with the fans obsession over Pardew exclusively using the Europa as an excuse;

AVB, Laudrup and Coyle, I'm sure could have used the Europa as an excuse, if they weren't all sacked before the knockout rounds. And even Pulis was gotten rid of following a Europa season, with only Brendan Rogers being retained, in the last couple of seasons, and Liverpool are certainly much better this season, when not in the Europa League.

Pardew is quite good with the media tbf - certainly his best attribute. He does make a lot of excuses though.

90% sure 3rd was offside.

There was nothing in the first one, Giroud nudges Sissoko first, and Sissoko doesn't do that much. Besides you never get freekicks for that. Also I think Giroud might have been offside.

Sky didn't really show proper angles, or put the white line across but;

Look at Giroud and Williamson's feet

I wouldn't have given two shits what Moyes said to the media if he was winning football matches, and I'm sure the same is true for you and Pardew.

Nearly every manager hides behind some excuse or another when they lose or fail to win - "parking two buses", "19th century football", "the referee didn't give us anything", "prior to the goal we played rather well".

Pardew has a long list of excuses but he's probably no worse than other managers, even if his press conferences largely descend into bollocks.

But tedious excuses are one thing. Losing 14 out of 19 since Boxing Day in all competitions - as he has done - is another. This is disgraceful form, and the team show no sign of stopping this rut.

Sometimes they can combine into one cocktail of shit - in his post-match he said "fans expect things we sometimes can't deliver" and its ridiculous. I don't think we will ever get Champions League football again, or take a cup seriously even as supposedly less glamorous teams like Wigan or Hull make the finals, but the minimum expectation is, quite simply, to not play like shit every week, and we're failing to manage that.

Ashley maybe a terrible owner but this form has no excuse, and the fact nobody in the media seems to wanna know is absurd. They must be shit scared of a banning.

I think if our goals didn't stand we probably would've scored more. We were on cruise control as soon as the first one went in pretty much.

Aye. Arsenal were always going to win that comfortably. Newcastle set up for a 0-0 but our defence is appalling so it never works. We don't even try to score goals.

The Giroud one is at best absolutely marginal but benefit of the doubt is supposed to go to the attacker, so the goal is the right decision.

As for the Ozil one, probably offside, but its a tighter call than is being made out on here.

For all people's complaints about Cleverley he's the closest to a dynamic midfielder we have, Fletcher and Carrick are boringly static whenever they're together.

Don't think Fletcher's, sadly, good enough anymore.

Are Rooney + VP injured?

Rooney's injured, RVP is on the bench just returning from injury.

I can't see us scoring with Young and Nani on the pitch. Poor.
