Cahill, Terry, Koscielny, Mertesacker or Lovren all deserved to get in ahead of Kompany. He's living off of his reputation in the 2011/12 season. I like Kompany, and he's an amazing player when at his best, but that hasn't seemed to be too often this year.

Hence why he's already in the team.

Not a Liverpool fan but that Chelsea result was really gutting. Can't imagine how tense the next couple of weeks are gonna be for them.

What a game.

Was actually late to work this morning because I opted to watch the game via a cap due to unable to watch it live. That slip though, Gerrard has a knack of it.

Still don't think we'll win it but it puts us in a position to do so nonetheless. I'm just glad we didn't lose to aid Liverpool in their title bid.

As a PFA team of the year it has all the problems their teams usually have: a few players on past glories (Kompany) a few on hype (Shaw, Lallana) a few missing out because of the timing of the vote or because of their character.

For me:

DDG
Coleman
Terry/Koscielny
Cahill
Azpiliecuta/Baines
Toure
Gerrard
Silva
Hazard
Sturridge
Suarez

I'd say the same as Ninja but definitely Terry and Cech instead of Baines.

Cech as a left back? Ballsy move

I would've gone for something like this:

Marshall/Speroni/Lloris
Coleman
Terry
Cahill
Azpilicueta
Toure
Gerrard
Lallana/Silva/Sterling
Hazard
Sturridge
Suarez

I think Kompany is brilliant, be he hasn't been good enough this season to get anywhere near the team. Cech was about the 5th best GK for me, behind Marshall, Speroni, Lloris & De Gea. I can see why some people went for Shaw, but for me the consistency of Azpilicueta means he deserves it, especially as he is naturally a right back.

Tactical genius.

Of course I meant instead of De Gea

Dunno mate, at least Aspas didn't cost 26mill. That's more than half a Mesut.

At least it wasn't a full Mesut. £42m is a lot for a player who can't be bothered most of the time.

He's been our top 3 most distance covered player pretty much every match before he got injured. He's World Class and we paid just under the inflated value for him.

Didn't think there would still be people doubting his ability, we coped when Ramsey was injured, we were complete shite when Mesut was.

Ozils good, when he turns up. Which can be quite rare.

Also Sterling in the team of the year

When did I doubt his ability? Of course he has ability, any idiot can see that. I was doubting his attitude/passion, thats why I said he can't be bothered most of the time. Like the Man City game where he just walked off in a bad mood or other times when he gets tackled and just sits on the floor waving his arms. He can be good, but he has to stop acting like a kid when he needs to be rolling his sleeves up and getting stuck in.

Don't get me started on your record signing.

Go on then, I couldn't care less what people think about him to be honest. Lamela's spent most of the season injured, making just 9 appearences, so i'm waiting until next season before I judge him.

Well that's what tends to happen when you come from a team with Ronaldo to a team with Giroud I'm afraid. He's very much like Cesc, a natural winner.

Although similar to Cesc as looking like a lone figure when we've lost, Cesc used to never speak anyone for about 2 days if we lost. Özil seems to get over it shortly.

When he got shouted at by the BFG I think it was more of the custom of actually getting used to away support, seeing as here's fuck all in Spain haha.

Yeah, it's bizarre how quickly people seem to have decided that Lamela's a failure.

Bit of a nothing game really. Newcastle not trying overly hard, neither are Arsenal, knowing if they just stay in 3rd gear they'll win easily.

Pardew has fallen out with him apparently.

Bollocks refereeing. Giroud fouls Sissoko then throws himself, and Ozil looked offside.

Newcastle havent't been that bad. Just the commentators are fucking horrendously biased.
