Hardly a massive 'capitulation' though, baring in mind we were 8 points behind City in February

You were 3-0 up with 11 minutes to play.

It's the nature of it.

Celebrations after City win + Gerrard slip + throwing away a 3-0 lead = massive (and hilarious) capitulation.

The title was there for you - all you had to do was draw with Liverpool and beat Palace and Newcastle.

Oh no doubt it's a slip up but we lost to Chelsea not like it was a team bottom of the league.

Also I assume the capitulation comment was in relation to the title race as a whole and not the one game against Palace

We still got 2nd (or 3rd, if we fuck up bad) and been a fantastic season. Who would have though this back in August?

Sucks how we bottled it the past 2 games, but I think it shows how much of a good player Henderson. Really missed him in the Chelsea game I feel.

Now we can hope Villa or West Ham do some magic, you never know.

Liverpool getting Pardewed.

In fairness, how the fuck did they throw that away?

It's easy to forsee City failing to win one of their games, but they're not going to lose either.

Neville and Carragher were spot on though. His defending was shit.

I haven't kept up.. so.. wait.. Glen Johnson is calling Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville sofa experts who don't know anything about playing football?
Say what you want about those two, but they're not random out of shape journalists who base everything in theory and have never stepped onto a pitch before.

Possible he's not talking about them and referring to the hundreds of tweets he no doubt revived?

Hell Jamie Carragher was his fucking teammate for 4 seasons.

I think he was referring to fans calling him shit, which has been going on all season long. But if you wanna insulate yourself from fan criticism, don't have a Twitter account.

Yes, apparently Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher, one of whom actually was a right back and the other of whom spent a large portion playing there, and both of them who showed that they could actually defend don't know anything compared to Glen 'what do you mean I'm not a right winger, and where did this toilet seat come from?' Johnson.
