Ok So I kinda forgot about this so now I'm going to get everyone back up to date

Tommy Chaplin - Was our starting goalkeeper with him being strong with both feet and a complete unit at 6'5 but couldnt save anything with every ball going past him. Was our starting goalkeeper but was not up to standard 2/10
McKay was our starting LB at the start of the season with his decent mentals for this level but in terms of technicals he was just not good enough to put it bluntly, 4/10
McKay's replacement was Owen Tamplin who we signed from Bearsted on a free and he was a decent LB for this level despite his height 6/10
The main man, one of the standout players this season with him being a good all round defender and being the only CB I was actually happy with 7/10
Due to us having no players at the start of the season we had to delve into the youth academy and at the time 16 year old Callum Pollard was called up to the first team for the first 2 games of the season and was horrific only getting a 6.56 rating 2/10
Bought in December on a free to try and improve our defence, was very bad giving away pens and just as bad as the rest of our centre-backs despite how much my team rated him 2/10
Again at the start of the season we had no defensive midfielders, not even in the youth teams, so Samuel Warnock was forced to play out of position there until we found someone that actually wanted to join us and wasn't the best but was out of position 3/10
Harrison was meant to be our key player with him playing most games throughout the season but was below average with his low agility causing a lot of goals for the opposition with balls over the top, was still the pick out a bad bunch though 5/10
What a man, Trego played every game this season with him being our only RB and did a decent job, he was also our penalty taker and managed to get 5 goals. Cult favourite for the Mallet 7/10
The surprise package of the season with the 43 year old, a record I don't think will be broken, coming to us due to no one else wanting to and he performed to the highest level with him getting plenty of assist off set pieces and also just being a good midfielder getting a 7 rating, sadly he decided enough was enough and retired at the end of the season 8/10
The 2nd of the 3 older midfielders to come to the club. He rotated with O'Keefe mostly and was just very average 6/10
Again another midfielder brought in because of necessity, didn't really do much 6/10
We finally found a defensive midfielder for the squad and Owusu-Boakye was it and he was a solid part in our midfield just doing the basics right, 7/10
Mark Cunningham perfectly displays how desperate we were at the start of the season with then the 15 year old midfielder playing 8 games for us and actually impressed but was soon dropped when we got in more senior midfielders 4/10
A horrific looking player on paper but Brunst just acted as a backup left winger with him getting only 2 games off the bench and also 2 goals so can't complain 6.5/10
Im writing this 3 seasons on and i honestly can't remember him so I cant even rank him
With our defence being so bad we got carried mainly by our forwards and Owers was one of the key parts of that with him getting 14 G/A in 24 starts which was not bad at all, also scored a free kick or two which made it good viewing 8/10
On the other wing was Thornton who was at the club when we got here but stayed in the squad with him impressing throughout the season which allowed him to nearly get a 7 average rating, very decent season 7/10
Thornton's backup Jones was also at the club and did the job when called up despite his horrific mentals but he did get 5 G/A in 5 starts which is a incredible return. 6.5/10
Another player who I can't remember
Due to Bateson leaving and injuries we bought in Matty McCullough who was an interesting case with his rating being so low but did get 3 goals in 4 starts so wasn't too bad 6.5/10
Once Bateson left we had to have someone to replace the goals and Byatt did that despite his age, with him being a big name for our level there was expectations on him and getting 9 goals in 19 games wasn't too bad of a return 6.5/10
In an attempt to improve the squad we bought Hemagou in from Atherstone where he would go on to get 12 G/A in 20 games across him playing striker and right wing, it was his height and jumping reach that put him above the rest and this is where I realised tall attackers was the way to go. 7.5/10
(This image was taken a bit before he left) Never fall in love with a loan player they say… Bateson was already on loan here when I started and he definitely delivered with him getting 23 goals in 21 games before going back to Yeovil at the end of the calendar year. I didn't realise his loan ended this early and was heartbroken when Yeovil didn't let us loan him again. 10/10
League

As you can see really just an average season with us being one of the most streaky teams in the league but in our credit we only failed to score in 3 matches so at least we got one thing right this season. Much to improve on next season.

We ended up actually having a good goal difference and finishing mid-table wasn't the worst this season, you can see the difference in quality though with us being considerably closer to the relegation zone than the playoff spots

FA Cup

The FA Cup is always something I try my hardest in as it can bring a bit of money to the club but this was not the best attempt… We managed to beat fellow 9th tier team Eastwood despite going a goal down but then we got an unfortunate draw and got league above side Clitheroe in the next round and to our surprise we drew against them against a record crowd, with Clitheroe scoring in the 93rd minute… They showed their class smashing us 2-5 at their place in the replay though. We go again.

FA Vase

It was not our year for cup competitions but we did manage to beat Burscough with a good good from Owers but then Royal Wootton Bassett tore us a new one, 40 year old Alan Griffin to be exact who scored all 4 of those goals. Try hard.

Les Phillips Cup

I could not care less about this cup but we managed to practice our pens against teams in our league before losing to eventual winners Buckland

After seeing WorkTheSpace's away days I wanted to do my own so lets get in the car and get travelling!

Shepton Mallet
UP NEXT: Shepton Mallet AFC. (a) – Bristol Manor Farm
I have actually played on this pitch and it is lovely, 3 nice stands surrounded by trees and a nice car park and club house the big stand is a bit DIY though so it gets a 7/10

Welton Rovers
Only down the road, Welton Rovers actually have quite a nice stadium, In the middle of Midsomer Norton, has a nice car park two nice little stands and a playground for the kids 6.5/10
St Blazey

Actually quite a nice little stadium with a overhead walkway down the side, a nice little stand and a smaller one, by a train station and have a decent parking space 6.5/10
Clitheroe
THESE HAVE ACTUAL STANDS, incredible for this season so far I can't lie, it's opposite a lidl but you do have to drive up a little lane to get there, and i'm comparing this stadium to 8th tier sides compared to the usual 9th tier we play, which marks it down by a lot I'm feeling a 6/10

Street
A more close to home away day finally but to quite a poor stadium, only has one stand but do have a reserves pitch. They have parking but can get to it on streetview and looks dodgy to say the least. These pitches are only getting worse 3/10

Brixham
This might actually turn the bad streak of grounds around as look at that, it has a little sheltered area for benches, you can watch from inside, has its name and it has another stand that is one of the weirdest things i've seen. Its got character. Its also basically on the sea. It does get pulled down a few points due to it being really hard to find with no signs and down what looks to be someones driveway but still its a 7/10

Torpoint Athletic
I love the uphill viewing platform, nice little stand. nothing more to it, got a decent car park. 5/10
Burscough
It's legit in a flat land round the back of a tesco car park. No Character at all, is on a railway track which stops it getting no points 1/10
Ilfracombe
Nice little church behind the goal and is a nice little stadium, little carpark at the end of a street 5/10
Royal Wootton Bassett
Normally I wouldn't like a stadium in the middle of no where but to have a ground at a sports complex at this level is insane, doesn't really have any stands but look at the sight of those pitches 7/10
Saltash United
They've got wooden seats so minus points off the bat, right next to the police station incase it kicks off and it's quite BTEC 3.5/10
Bridgwater United
I tell you what that stand is lovely and they have another one that isn't that bad itself, got a boxing place, rugby club and a  college near it. for the massive carpark as well and compared to others this level it gets 7.5/10
Nailsea And Tickenham
Basically a Sunday league pitch, barely any photos, no street view, not really in Nailsea 1/10
Helston Athletic
with this stadium you can either stand or sit in your car, it is next to a Big Tesco though 2/10
Buckland
I quite like the blocky stand and even can stand behind it for a slightly higher view, it is basically out of Newton Abbot though, can't get near it in street view 4/10
Barnstable
Got quite a nice stadium, next to a lake, limited parking but can get in it through google street view. 4/10
Falmouth
What a social club oh my days look at the size of that, love a hill view for a stadium, stadium is on a massive slope, I've fallen in Love with Falmouth 8/10
Millbrook
Couldn't find it on google, no pictures, no proper pin on maps. has a different name in the game, only picture i've found look terrible 0/10
Wellington
Couldn't find much info on this stadium looks alright 1/10
Oldland Abbotonians
Another sunday league type pitch, just in a bunch of stands. Lets get to next season 2/10
Clevedon
Such a brown stadium but I do quite like the stand and is actually a stadium unlike some. Got a great carpark but isn't in Clevedon so can't rank it higher than a 5/10

Well then, Alberto was our starting goalkeeper until the final game of the season, where he got recalled straight before, he saved a few pens but he may as well of not been there with him constantly getting beat. The Hemel Hempstead gaffer also constantly telling me to play him as a sweeper keeper as well, useless but was the best keeper we could get 4/10
Albertos loan ended before the final game of the season so Pedder came in and had a average game, 5/10
We had no left backs for the final 2 games so McGovern came in and actually performed really well, what a bloke 6/10
Mark Hegan was actually quite good and solid for a LB but in October got recalled because we wern’t playing him in the right position, wish he stayed longer tbh 6/10
Jerry Triggs came in october for backup to the left back position after our previous LB Mark Hegan got recalled, he ended up coming in and rotating with Paddy Marshall and was incredibly average I can’t lie but a decent season. 6/10
Honestly a horrific CB after bringing him in to be a starter, big disappointment so got dropped and then got recalled because of it, horrific 2/10
The most inconsistent player of my life, went from getting high sixs to 5 ratings, leader in the dressing room. 6/10
For some reason a favorite of mine and was average but scored his fair share of goals 7/10
Played one game in every cup, did nish 3/10
THE PENALTY MACHINE, was a very average RB defensive wise but was our pen taker when we got here and I stayed with him and he delivered, cult hero of the club. Another season where he played every game, the machine. 8/10
Honestly was just brought in to be a squad option but ended up being very decent for us despite his average rating saying otherwise, slowly left the team when we swapped to a 4-4-2 6/10
Played most of our games this season and honestly has been a lot better than the stats say with him getting the pass to the assist a lot, honestly rate him highly and hope he stays next season but he’s asking for a lot of money atm 7/10
THIS GUY WAS BORRRINNGGGGG, he legit did nothing and was mainly used if someone got a red card, nothing to say minus the horrific hair line, 5/10
Came on as a sub when running low on midfielders, the OG academy player but did nothing 3/10
Came in for the final 4 games after Galbrieth’s loan finished, was extremely average but got a goal in the final game that won us the title so he gets a 6/10
Legit only made 2 sub appearances in the league before getting recalled but did bag a free-kick from 30-35 yards out, arguably my goal of the season, have nothing to say on him 5/10
Improved with his output this season with him going through a period when he was horrific but ended the season with 19 G/A i n 34 Games where he started every game, key part of the team 7/10
Came in with 1 game left of the season as Joseph getting a red card, has quite good stats but got a 6.5. 3/10
One of the two player of the seasons despite his manager constantly asking me to play him as a defensive winger which was stupid with him having 9 goals and 10 assists in 29 games, 2 of those goals being class freekicks. My St Lucian prince <3 8/10
One of the bunch of horrific strikers, well he had 2 sub appearances and did nothing 2/10

Although his average rating was 6.92 he couldn’t hit a barn door and was then moaning when he got dropped and got sold half-way through the season to Cockfosters, pain in my arse despite being decent last season. 2/10
Played one game in cup, got a 5.90. 1/10
Again, came in as a backup striker but got 16 G/A in 26 games, I for some reason really like him and he got some clutch goals as well, had a slight panic with his loan ending before the final 2 games but managed to get him back, 7/10
My player of the season, only has 5 finishing but bagged 16 goals, the beast from the headers, I love this man with all my heart, he’s staying here next season 8/10

League

We quite struggled at the start of the season due to again not having many players due to our board not allowing us to sign a singular player with wages. The only part minus the end that I wrote down on my notes was Kevin Hemagou's 4 minute hatrick to win us the game against Helston at home, decent lad.

We eventually found our form. We then went on a hell of a run but then came close to bottling the league title in April and had to Win on the final game of the season and Bridport to lose…

AND WE DID IT and won the title, the chances went in our favour with Torpoint getting two goals past the 80 minute mark but we move up the league. MON THE BOYS

FA Cup

Well… this was quite embarrassing I can't lie, I can't even say this was a rotation side because it wasn't. We move

FA Vase

We made up for it in the FA Vase to be fair with us beating 10th tier sides Calne and Yarm easily before battering fellow 9th tier side Fairford but then the fixture list caught up with us and Reading just eased by at home, unfortunate

Les Phillips Cup

Buckland just don't want to see us win I guess

Cadbury Heath
Very basic Somerset ground with a small stand however it is in the middle of a housing estate and no car parking whatsoever, 0 parking but it is a decently close drive to us. 3/10
Shepshed Dynamo
A whole 3 hour journey for the cup with like Cadbury Heath a small ground with one stand and no parking, it is however on “Butthole Lane” so it gets bumped up a rating 3/10
Bridport
Only an hour drive, it has its own pin for the car park. It has a whole basketball court outside and a nice looking clubhouse from what I can see as well as some nice trees in the background, has basketball, rugby and football all nearby and will find it hard to find a ground better than that this season, I can’t get over the basketball pitch. 8/10
Reading City FC
It is on the river thames but it’s a tiny little stadium barely in reading in a bunch of fields but it is on the river Thames so it goes up a rating 2/10
Roman Glass St George
Less than an hour drive so it’s not bad and it’s one of the few grounds I’ve been to in real life and I liked it, got a nice stand, just off the motorway and easy to get to but isn’t real grass so it gets a 5/10
Wadesbridge Town
A whole 2 and a half hour drive for a local league match, and it’s basically a field dug out with a pitch in the middle and no pathing, no fencing no nothing. I do kinda like it. Again no parking 1/10
Exmouth Town
Quite a similar ground to ours, looks quite cozy. Only an hour and a half drive. It’s, got a sky view on streetview and is legit on the see. No parking but it is blimmin nice aint it  7/10
Sherborne
Nothing much to say about this one but it is close to a train station but is out of the actual town but it has a massive car park, only a 45 min drive as well. Looks like quite a nice little place I cant lie, 4/10

Ryan Jones was bought in to be the backup keeper and I after an injury he had a shot at first team, and blew it, could not save anything really 2/10
The one position we could not find was a goalkeeper so we had to settle with 18 year old Pottage on loan from Dulwich Hamlet and he conceded very nearly 2 goals per match. Dreadful 2/10
WE FINALLY FOUND A DECENT KEEPER! After looking for a better keeper throughout the season in January i found Heath who was doing very good in the 9th tier with Sporting Khalsa and decided to bring him in and he impressed massively by saving crucial pains and overall just saving shots which was something our previous goalkeepers couldn't 8/10
After letting go of one of my favourite players in Trego we got Kabeya in to upgrade the right-back position and he was solid, never really made any mistakes. Got a few assists. Just decent 7/10
Came in as backup for Kabeya and wasn't really needed in the end only having 2 appearances off the bench 2/10
I thought at this level if I bought in a 6'7 centre-back with good heading and jumping reach he would win headers and we'd be sorted but turns out he somehow can't win headers as people pumped balls over the top and he scored 1 header. 2/10
Lodge came in as backup on loan and ended up playing a fair bit putting in average performances, rarely ever actually caught out and plus he loves me, 6/10
After still having defensive problems I bought Walker in January and he was decent to be fair despite on paper him not looking like a good centre back, we finally have a decent Cb 6/10
Yes in our winning run we did play 2 5'11 centre backs. Morgan started the season at RM due to an injury to Owen but after all our defensive problems I decided to give him a chance at CB and he was suprisinly ok, could do it all 6.5/10
Meant to be our key centre-back and was terrible 2/10
Originally coming in and listed as our key player, Mason was meant to play left wing but due to us not being able to find a good left-back thats where he slotted in and he was actually quite decent, he of course got a few goals because of being our penalty taker but he also got 8 assists which wasn't bad at all for a LB 7/10
One of the surprise packages of the season Owen started off the season with a 5 month injury but got back in the team and mostly as a super sub impressed getting 6 G/A in 16 Games 6.5/10
Holvey came up as a suggestion mid season and I brought him in to just rotate with wingers due to injuries and Owers going through a patch of bad form and he was ok getting 6 G/A, nothign really more to say 6/10
brought in to be backup and ended up not needing him 3/10
We carried on our pattern of having experienced midfielders and Moult was brought in and to be fair he was alright just didn't have the legs at points, I have just offered him a player/assistant manager role next season as well 6.5/10
The day one midfielder is still here and took the step up quite well with him being a solid option in midfield as always 6.5/10
Lewis was very average at the start of the season but at the midpoint I got told off by the Hereford manager for not playing him so he came back in the team under a box-to-box role and was incredible with him getting 10 goal involvements. Gonna try and bring him in on a deal next season 8/10
On the left wing all season we had the schoolboy Duggan who was decent. Didn't really turn up at the big moments but still contributed 15 G/A throughout the season can't complain 7/10
The only other player that has been here for all 3 season is Owers who sadly declined recently, he still did get a good return but I think it may be time to let him go, sorry mate 6/10
Coombe started the season on fire then got replaced by Crumb but he was still amazing so can't complain, if it wasn't for his age I would keep him in the squad but 14 G/A in 15 starts is class 7/10
THE GINGER WIZARD, Hawley ended up with 25 goals in the league leaving him as the second highest goalscorer, behind Bickley who scored 39 goals in 37 games for Jersey… A lot of those goals wern't stat padding either with most of them being match winners. He also beat Batesons record for goals in a season which isn't bad at all 9/10
Was meant to be a backup striker but then got better options 2/10
A player who actually scored against us in our first season, I was shocked that Crumb was available on a free transfer with 25 goals in the 9th tier in the first season then a respectable 11 in our league last season in a relegated side. Bought him in mid season due to his height, finishing abilities and two footedness. He was class as you can see with his 11 goals from 10 XG. 7.5/10
Last seasons hero Hemagou was complaining he wasn't getting gametime despite our strikers being amazing so he had to be sold, played 7 games and didn't get a goal 3.5/10
Our actual backup striker was Phillips who I tried to get last season but he went to Southall and was amazing but this time I managed to get him on loan, he scored on his debut and made a few couple other appearances but got recalled due to having no game time.

Southern League Division One South

We started the season very well but the months of October and November was roughhhhhh without a win, we then had a few role changes in our 4-4-2 and it picked up with us sitting 4th for most of the second half of the season, the final run of games was rough however with us playing 2nd placed Mangotsfield then the team who took the league by storm, Jersey Bulls, and also in April playing Mousehall who were 5th at the time and then Cinderford and Horndean for the final 2 games who were both playing to secure a playoff spot. We did finish the season in 4th and the playoffs and in the Semi Final of the playoffs we were very good battering 3rd placed Hereford Pegasus 3-1 after going 3-0 up and their only goal coming from a pen. We then faced Mangotsfield who were just the cut above though with them scoring in the 23rd minute and sitting on it until we went very attacking for the final 20 minutes and chucked everything we had at at and they took advantage of that scoring in the 89th min to make it 2-0 before Sam Crumb got one back in the final touch of the game.

FA Cup

One day we will do good in the cup. We started off smacking about Alton, who actually nearly won their league in the 10th division this season, but then we faced Wythenshawe Town who got to the playoff final of their 9th tier league and to be honest, I don't know what happened we just got smacked about nothing more to say

FA Trophy

The FA Trophy went slightly better with us getting two early goals against West Auckland at home before travelling 5 hours to Penrith where we bottled a 2-0 lead… then bottled a 3-2 lead… and it went to penalties where there was a total of 15 pairs of pens that we eventually managed to win. Heart rate was through the roof. Hastings really showed their class with them being in the league above and thrashed us 4-1

Melksham Town
Only an Hour drive and has a nice club house and safe standing, even got 3 stands and a google earth in the actual ground, it has a big car park but is a bit outside Melksham itself. It gets a 4.5/10

Hereford Pegasus
Long journey and not much info on the ground but from pictures looks like a school PE pitch 2/10

Bashley
Another quite long drive, quite a nice looking stadium but only with one stand and theres plenty of parking and has a holiday park next to it if you want to stay, 3.5/10

Yate Town
Less than an hour drive and to be fair quite similar to our stadium but we actually have more stands and god knows what that stand is above, barely even in yate 2.5/10

Penrith
A WHOLE 5 HOUR DRIVE NO TRAFFIC, but that doesn’t come into it, near the lake district but isn’t even in penrith so minus points for that, no google earth near it but does have a nice stand 1.5/10

Tavistock

Hastings
I tell you what it’s got a nice front to it and one of the best stands for this level, its a long drive. Quite close to the centre and has its own social club. I quite like this stadium for this level 7.5/10
