So here we are in a football management forum, and I suddenly thought it might be worth sharing another football manager game. I can't see another topic in here about it (after a search - so blame that search engine if there is one). I'm sure there's a number of people here who already play it, so nothing like a bit of an FM community to pull together as well. A game with similar ideologies to the original championship manager. Big on gameplay, less focused on the graphics.
Hattrick is an multiplayer online "long-term" football management game where you play against other managers on a weekly basis. The season is 16 weeks long with promotion and relegation, a couple of cups you can play in, and lots to be made and lost on the transfer market.
I've been playing this game on and off for about 20 years, but recently returned a few years ago. I have won a few (lesser) cups, and led the England u21 team to one of their worst ever performances 😅😅😅 (damn match engine! I was statistically the unluckiest manager ... (almost) ever).
There's a fun community and they're just pushing their social side of the game even further so lots more to come from that.
There's around 5 weeks of the season left so if you joined now you'll be enrolled in time to learn the game a bit and get in the cup draw for next season. Come join the fun, and drop me a message and I'll give you a hand getting started.

And if you already play, then you can always comment below and we can see who else is around. 😁
And then there's even a subgame where you can collect stickers just like you would for a Panini album, so would introduce you to that, and it's just started a "manager of the year" challenge.
