today I emulated Simone Inzaghi's Inter 2024-2025. I made 2 versions, one more attacking with an attacking mentality and Acerbi as Libero on support to emulate his movements when he carries the ball forward and support the attack, and one more defensive with a positive mentality instead of an attacking one and Acerbi as a simple central defender instructed to take fewer risks and close down less. I won Serie A with the best attack and best defense, scored a lot of goals ,played beautiful football exactly as Inter does in reality. In my video you can see how the two wing-backs are very high and wide and Bastoni also stays wider to form a powerful link with Di Marco. Besides, when one of the two wing-backs crosses the ball the other wing-back cuts inside from the opposite flank to score or create chances for his teammates inside the box, to do so I instructed both wing-backs to aim the cross at far post. Other Inzaghi's Inter typical features you will see in the highlights are: counterpress, playing the ball patiently after winning it back usually passing it back to a midfielder (Calhanoglu) or a defender , Lautaro Martinez as DLP dropping deeper to link the play, press the opponent and at same time Marcus Thuram as AF moving forward.
I could have done better in Champions League where I got knocked out by Borussia Dortmund at round of 16, but I dominated nearly all the matches I played especially in Serie A and most of all I could emulate Inzaghi's team movements as realistic as possible.
