You can put a player in any position if he is at least yellow in that position. This makes a big difference in the way your team play because you can put a lot of quality players in the same first eleven without worrying about their impact or being obliged to put a good player on the bench because someone else is taking his place.

If you have 2 strikers where one is right-footed and the other left-footed, place the left-footed on the right and the right -footed on the left. It will give you better performances.

Play your best player available as a striker if he is at least yellow in that position. You'll get better results.

If you have a big game 3 or 4 days after your last game, try to rest most of your players in that game so when they play the big game, they have a good condition and increase your chances of winning the game.

If you have 2 strikers with the same preferred foot, put the better one on the left if he is right-footed and on the right if he is left-footed. Try to play as much as possible with 2 strikers who don't have the same preferred foot.

Actually, you don't really know how your players will react physically. It doesn't happen often that the core of your team is tired, but it happens. So like in real life, you have to gamble.

Against teams who play with 5 defenders change to a 4-1-3-2 in the beginning of the game by playing the AMC as a DMC and adjust your players. Otherwise, the opposite team will take advantage of the space on the wings and it would make it very difficult for you to win the game.

Have you tried the tactic with a lower-league team?

No I didn't, but I'll try. Do you prefer a small club in the Premier League or a Championship team ? Cause currently I'm playing with Fulham.

Actually, create a large 4-2-3-1 just by moving the spots. It doesn't matter how you make the tactic because the players have all the same instructions. When you see the opposition have 5 defenders or play a ''4-1-2-1-2 close'' at the beginning or during the game, change to the 4-2-3-1 and adjust your players. It should help your team a lot, otherwise the opposite fullbacks will cause you problems.

I think I'll be better if you try it with a poor Championship team. You know, just to see where can this tactic take them to.

Ok. I'm almost done with Fulham so I'll finish that then I'll play with a poor team in the Championship.

So I decided to try this out with a lower league team. I'm playing with Brackley Town in the Blue Square Bet North.

Al these matches were against more powerful teams in the leagues above, however we managed to win against Chesterfield and we even scored 5 goals. I'll keep you updated.

The 3 forwards including the AMC need to be good players with at least one good forward or a AMC on the bench in case of injuries, otherwise this tactic won't work for you.

Actually, the substitute needs to be a striker or a AMC who can play as a striker (at least yellow spot).

Obviously, the quality of the forwards in the Portuguese League doesn't need to be as high as in the English Premier League for example

Forget about the change to a 4-2-3-1 vs a ''4-1-2-1-2 close'', I figured out that I play better against that type of tactic with the 4-3-1-2.

I have been using this tactic but if am honest i find it very inconcistent. One game i will win 4-0 next game i get beat 6-2. I find that i cant keep a clean sheet that often with it. Will finish the current season with it but think i may be trying something different for the new season
