default language: please help

hi there. primitive question: how to change games language? i open it in preferences, set my language, than it sucesfuly works.. but.. when i start the game again next day, the default language is different than i want again.. how to change to be default? (i sucesfuly instaled skins, all possible graphics, all works nicely.. but this simple task does not 😀 ). solutions? 😀

 

if you read to that point, i have one more question: it takes around 10 minutes to launch the game. how to make it normal - faster? (my macbook with new chip is not the reason). thanks a lot
