Every save needs a future legend, and look no further than the 15-year-old Max Dowman, who would go on to be Arsenal's legendary one-club man in our save. Starting his career at Arsenal in 2023, he made his debut in 2025 against Queens Park Rangers, and by 2026, he had scored his first senior goal against Brentford and broken fully into the first team.
From that moment, Dowman became a model of consistency. He scored 10 or more goals in every season since 2028, with the only exception being the 2031/32 campaign. His leadership grew alongside his performances leading the Gunners on the pitch by 2033. He registered 438 league appearances and 157 goals as the club's attacking midfielder.
Trophies soon followed. In 2027, Arsenal finally lifted the English Premier Division title, their only one under Dowman’s era. This success was followed by four Carabao Cups, two English Cups, and a famous European run in 2029 that delivered the UEFA Europa League, UEFA Super Cup, and European/South American Club Challenge.
From 2028 onward, he was a guaranteed presence in Arsenal’s Seasonal Best Eleven. He collected major individual honors early, including the 2028/29 UEFA Europa League Player of the Season and English Players’ Young Player of the Year, followed by back-to-back awards as UEFA Champions League Player of the Season (2029/30, 2030/31). By 2030, at just 22, he had already been inducted into Arsenal’s Overall Best Eleven.
On the international stage, Dowman was just as influential. He debuted for England in 2029 against Poland at the age of 21 and led the Three Lions as captain from 2036 to 2038. Over his career, he made 129 appearances and scored 39 goals for his country. His international trophy cabinet included the U20 World Cup (2025), European U21 Championship (2027), European Championship titles (2032 & 2036), and the European International League (2035). The only heartbreak came in 2033, when England went home with a World Cup bronze medal. Individually, he was named in the England Seasonal Best Eleven every year from 2032 to 2041, inducted into the Overall Best Eleven in 2037, and featured in the European Championship Dream Team of 2036.
The peak of his powers came in 2034, when Dowman delivered a season for the ages. He won the World Golden Ball, placed third in the GOAL50 rankings, and was named European Men’s Player of the Year, English Players’ Player of the Year, English Footballer of the Year, and included in the Premier Division Team of the Year. Remarkably, as a midfielder, he scored 20 goals that season, cementing his reputation as a true gunner.
From 2034 to 2040, he was adored by the fans, winning the Supporters’ Player of the Year award seven times in a row. His accolades kept piling up: UEFA Europa League Player of the Season (2035), England Player of the Year (2037), and UEFA Champions League Player of the Season (2039). Yet, despite his glittering career, he was never crowned World Footballer of the Year, making the shortlist only twice in 2035 and 2037. Maybe you’re the manager who can finally guide him to that honor?
Max Dowman proved that loyalty and greatness can go hand in hand. In an era where players often chase new challenges, he built his entire legacy at Arsenal, etching his name into history as the ultimate one-club legend.
