Name: Will Wright
Nationality: English
Age: 17
Position: Striker
Preferred Foot: Right
Personality: Fairly Determined
When you start a new save, you will find Will Wright at Liverpool. In our save, he made his senior debut in 2025 against Rochdale in the English FA Cup. He announced himself by scoring his first senior league goal against Nottingham Forest, but his early years were difficult. He made only two league appearances across the next four seasons, although Liverpool still lifted both the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup before his departure.
It was away from Anfield that Wright discovered his true form. In our save, he joined Sheffield United on a free transfer and became a prolific scorer. Across three seasons, he played 98 games and scored 50 goals. His 2030/31 campaign was the highlight, producing 25 goals in 45 appearances, his best return in a single season.
Arsenal noticed his rise and signed him in 2032 for £31M for another shot in the Premier Division. He slowly adapted to life in the Premier Division, achieving his highest statistical attributes in his career. He played a key role in the 2035 squad that won the UEFA Europa League, the European/South American Club Challenge, and the UEFA Super Cup. He was named in Arsenal’s Best Eleven for three consecutive years from 2035 to 2037. Despite these achievements, Will was not effective in front of goal for a striker, barely managing 17 goals in 91 appearances at an average of just 0.19 per game, and he failed to secure a regular starting place in the following seasons.
In 2038, he spent a short spell on loan at NAC Breda, where he scored 10 goals in 17 appearances and earned a place in their Seasonal Best Eleven.
His next chapter came in Saudi Arabia. Al-Fayha paid £12M to bring him in, and he rewarded them with 43 goals in 102 league appearances, becoming a cornerstone of the team.
Internationally, Wright enjoyed some of the finest moments of his career. He was part of England’s victorious 2032 European Championship squad. Two years later, he helped England to a dramatic third-place finish at the 2034 World Cup. He was also named in England’s Seasonal Best Eleven in both 2033 and 2034.
In our save, Wright’s career had its ups and downs. After a difficult start at Liverpool, he found better form at Sheffield United, collected trophies with Arsenal, and enjoyed some success with England, though he never quite established himself as a consistently standout striker.
