The Sort It Out SI data update adds thousands of new wonderkids to Football Manager 2024, making your next save feel like a brand new game. We’re taking a look at how some of the most highly rated youngsters perform after being added.
Name: Belinho
Nationality: Croatian
Age: 16
Position: Winger
Preferred Foot: Left
Personality: Fairly Determined
If you are looking for a new winger, maybe you’d get interested with Belinho playing for Dinamo when you start a new save. In our save, Belinho would take his first team opportunity in the 2025/26 season, scoring his first goal and starting 15 league games at a young age.
Impressed with the kid, Manchester City would bring him to England for £14.5M. But his time with City would not impress the Citizens. He spent the majority of his years playing in the youth team. During his stay, they managed to win the U21 Premier Division Cup and a Carabao Cup in 2028. Five years with them and he would manage to register 21 games and 4 goals, rather disappointing.
He would be sent on loan to Sevilla for £1.9M in 2030, where he would find his magic. Starting in 24 games and scoring 9 goals with 5 assists, he also picked up 6 Player of the Match awards. It definitely impressed everyone and the Merengues would pick him up for £53M. In Spain, he would find home. he first two seasons were spent mostly on the bench, but by his third year he had become a key figure at the Santiago Bernabéu. His 2035/36 season was record-breaking: 13 goals, 15 assists, and 8 Player of the Match awards in 33 league games, valued at £237M. He posted outstanding average ratings of 7.73 in 2034/35 and 7.69 in 2035/36, the highest among the wonderkids we have reviewed so far. But his peak was short-lived, as his form declined afterward, finishing his Madrid career with only 148 league appearances and 32 goals in less than a decade stay.
His time at Madrid was lined with trophies. He began with three straight runner-up finishes in the Champions League and Spanish Cup, alongside winning the European Football Championship with Croatia in 2032. Redemption came in 2033 when Madrid completed a historic treble of the Champions League, Spanish First Division, and Spanish Cup. Two more Spanish Cups followed in 2034 and 2035, then the Spanish Super Cup in 2036. The league title returned in 2035 and 2039, and in 2038 Madrid lifted the Club World Championship.
Belinho’s individual achievements were just as impressive. He was inducted into Croatia’s Overall Best Eleven in 2027 and named in their Seasonal Best Eleven ten times. At Madrid, he was included in the Seasonal Best Eleven three times and the Overall Best Eleven in 2034. Twice he was voted Supporters’ Player of the Year, and he earned a spot in the Spanish First Division Team of the Season along with the Spanish League Player of the Year award in his best season at Madrid. His short stint with Sevilla rewarded him with inclusion in the Seasonal Best Eleven and Supporters’ Player of the Year.
By 2039, AC Milan signed him for £22M. His first two seasons in Italy were not his brightest, but his role grew more important for the Rossoneri. So far, he has made 45 league appearances and continues to look forward to a stronger campaign ahead.
In the end, Belinho’s career will be remembered for his short but brilliant peak at Real Madrid. For a couple of seasons, he reached the heights every winger dreams of at the Santiago Bernabéu, even if he could not sustain it for long.
