Tick Multiple Boxes Faster
Instead of ticking each box one by one, click on the first item you want, then hold Shift and click on the last one: everything in between will be selected automatically
Use Keyboard to Navigate
A quick way to move through menus without using the mouse is to navigate the cards and tiles using your keyboard:
← use A
→ use D
↑ use W
↓ use S
Team Instructions with Fewer Clicks
Once you’re familiar with what each instruction does, there’s no need to open each instruction pop-up every time. Just use the "slider" for quick tweaks or click on each one directly on the overview list to bring up all available options instantly.
Staff Attributes Values
SI removed the numeric values for staff attributes this year, replacing them with qualitative labels. Thankfully, they forgot to hide the numbers completely, if you use the search criteria filter, you can still see what each label represents:
Elite → 20
Outstanding → 18–19
Very Good → 15–17
Good → 12–14
Average → 10–11
Competent → 7–9
Reasonable → 4–6
Unsuitable → 1–3
Main Screens and Bookmark Shortcuts
Make navigation faster with a few simple shortcuts. Press numbers 1–6 on your keyboard to jump straight to the main screens:
1 → Portal
2 → Squad
3 → Recruitment
4 → Match Day
5 → Club
6 → Career
You can also create your own bookmarks for quick access:
Shift+1 → Bookmark 1
Shift+2 → Bookmark 2
And so on…
Staff Responsibilities and More
If you can’t find a screen? 🔍 Use the search bar at the top of the interface.
Staff “Responsibilities” is one of the most searched screens and somehow one of the hardest to locate 😂
Just type what you’re looking for and jump straight there.
Squad Meetings
If you need to talk to your team go to Squad → First Team, right click your club name and select Hold Team Meeting.
Import Squad View
If you want to load a custom squad view go to Squad → First Team, right-click on any column, and select Import View.
The views are stored in 'Application Support/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 26/views'
World Knowledge
To find which regions and countries your scouts have knowledge of go to FMPedia → Recruitment → Scouting → World Knowledge
In-Match Advanced Team and Individual Stats
For Individual advanced stats click on team's 3rd 🟣 and open the tile
For Team's advanced stats click on Match Stat's 1st 🟣 and open the tile
Enable Legacy Spacebar
If you want not to continue the game until all messages are read head to ⚙️ Settings → Preferences → Detailed → 🔘 Processing and tick ☑️ Continue Button Legacy Mode
