I joined the team while they were in the relegation zone with only 7 squad members. I did a few transfers and managed to move out of the relegation zone with a positive goal difference.
I will update this comment once I have a full team and have played an entire season.

Lost the previous save file as I had to format my computer.
Tried with an updated database from this site and tactic is a monster, especially if you find proper players in the free market. Started with 6 players and grew to 24 squad.
Beautiful tactic that saved my team one again from relegation. Now to play a full season, hoping I don't have to format my computer again.

Finally managed a full season. Tactic is good but we were givinh away free goals for no reason. Conceaded 52 goals in the entire season and of course got FM'd in some matches.
Overall a good tactic.
