FM26 Match Engine Has Been Updated
FM26 Match Engine was just updated on February 11th which will have broken many tactics.
This is a generic message applied to all FM26 tactics check for tests with an ME Version 26.2 or greater.
For this YouTube video, I tried to recreate the tactics Frank Schmidt uses in real life at 1. FC Heidenheim in Football Manager. The tactic might not be the most successful in-game, but the main goal was to replicate the real-life playstyle as accurately as possible.

I simulated the first season with 1. FC Heidenheim twice (once with three transfers and once with the standard squad).

I also tested the tactic with FC Porto. The league performance was below expectations with a third-place finish, but it was balanced out by winning one of the domestic cups and the Europa League.

Finally, I also wanted to try to win the Conference League with the tactic, so I simulated a season with Fiorentina. Unfortunately, the results were disappointing overall, even though the Conference League run was close, ending with a semifinal exit.
