First of all, I'm not sure if I've posted this in the right place, so I apologize in advance.

I'm 40 years old and have been playing Football Manager since the CM series. I recently bought Football Manager 2026, but the game just didn't appeal to me. I couldn't enjoy it at all.

I've benefited from many patches for FM 2024 on this site. Stadiums, countries, teams, logos, kits, face packs – they were all fantastic. I'm a fan of Football Manager 2008. It wasn't very detailed, and it was a simple and fluid game. I want to go back to it.

I have a problem! If I remember correctly, in FM 2008, unlike FM 2026, there's no option to add leagues or change rules.

What I want to ask you is this:

- A modder made a change in FM 2008. In the original game, there are 3 main leagues in Türkiye: Super Lig, First Lig, and Second Lig. The Second Lig has 5 groups, each with 10 teams. But the person who updated the 24-25 season created two main leagues: the Super League and two separate leagues with 18 teams each. How did they manage that?

I'm asking because the Europa League format in the 2007-2008 season was terrible. There were 8 groups, and each group had 5 teams. They played 4 matches. I want to change that. 8 groups of 4 teams each. Like the old Champions League format. Is that possible?

I would be very grateful if you could help me with making changes to the game. Afterwards, I will prepare the game for the 26-27 season and start playing it. I want to spend a few months working on this and start the new FM 2008 26-27 season in the upcoming season.

Thank you in advance.
