Really enjoying a game of FM again at the moment as Everton, Finished 4th the first season and in the second season managed to win the league and get through to the last 16 of the champions league.

I've sold and spent wisely, and now have £30m+ in the bank, and I'm not looking to spend on any signings during the summer transfer window before the third season. I've signed Jordy Clasie & Eugene Konoplyanka on free transfers and in the January of the second season added Kyle Naughton to the squad.

Any tips for continuing? If Lukaku carries on like he does I probably won't have to change much! Last season I got Douglas, Bruno Martins Indi & Dorlan Pabon on free transfers, I'm really looking to increase the bank balance, the club has already started paying off the debts, I got a "Everton clear debts" news item which was good to see.

I've still got a fairly decent young team, however could probably do with a couple more UK based younger players. I have just signed five Brazlian 15-17 year olds (GK, LB, 2x AMC, ST) all with five star potential and between 1-2 stars current ability, Looking to get a new feeder team and send them out to develop for a couple of years.

I usually end up cocking a game up around about now by selling half my team to boost the bank balance, I think I need the longer game with this one though.

Below is a pic of my team, I would do a normal screenshot but I'm not at the PC I play FM on.

Any thoughts?

Maybe try Will Hughes from Derby? He's normally top class in a few years gametime - same with a striker from Derby who's name escapes me.

I'll second the suggestions of Hughes and Bennett.

I'd also have a look at how Tony Watt from Celtic has developed, turns into a real top quality striker in some saves.

Quality squad there mate. I always tried to sign Lakaku for Everton but he was never interested.

I agree with Franck about Tony Watt. He turned out amazing in my Celtic career and I've been getting £15M plus offers.

How much did it cost you to keep hold of Lukaku?
