I've had one or two.
Last FM I had an epic game starting with AFC Wimbledon before going on to Newcastle United, England, PSG and Manchester United. That one ended up probably being my favourite save on any FM I've had over the years.

I've only signed the one player since taking the over at Kingsmeadow and he's an international star, well at a stretch, okay he's not an international star, but he's an international footballer and he didn't cost me anything.
I thought with Andy Frampton and Will Antwi both injured I needed another defender so I've brought in Leon Johnson who has joined from Wycombe Wanderers for nothing.
As for pre-season we played just three games as I wanted to work on our tactics on the training paddock and we remained undefeated. I'd like to make us a hard to beat side in my first season and it seems Coventry City and Aberdeen found it difficult. We travel to Torquay United on the opening day and I hope we can begin with a bang. My first home fixture is an absolute cracker against the scum that are MK Dons in the Capital One Cup first round.

The penalty shootout was a tense affair and we had our chances to win it, though unfortunately we didn't take them.

Having read a few topics on a few different sites it seems there may be an issue with defending on the ME.
In 16 competitive games I've kept 1 clean sheet....

I've shifted to playing a 5-2-2-1 and so far we've done slightly better, especially at home. It's likely we're safe from the threat of relegation and likely we're to far behind to mount a challenge for the playoffs which means mid table looks likely to be where we finish, which in fairness won't be terrible in my first season in charge.
We beat Newport County and Whitby Town, both games at Kingsmeadow, in the first and second round of the FA Cup to setup a third round clash with Coventry City at home. Hopefully we can cause an upset and progress.

I guess our start was on par with expectations for the season. We're expected to finish in 17th so our start was reflective of that I suppose, but thankfully the players have began to perform a lot better with the new formation!!

Not sure we can push for promotion given how short on quality our squad is and how big the gap is at the moment, but we'll give it a go. I guess the good thing about League Two is if you can go on a good run of form it's likely teams above and around you won't be picking up as many points because the league is so competitive.

It's definitely helped. Get through the season then with some summer strengthening you'll be in for a playoff place next season

The summer will be a busy period for the club I feel. Think I'll probably let a fair amount of players move on and rebuild. Have to many under performing players in the squad who aren't worthy of the salary they receive.
