This game will be all about implementing my philosophy to the club. It will probably take a few seasons to get the team and tactics I want set up but here it is:
SR67
1st season: Play the tactic most suited to the current team and qualify for the Europa League. Bring in a few decent youngsters that will feature in the first team by season three.
2nd season: Maintain a Europa League spot, hopefully lift some silverwear and start implementing my 'goal' tactic.
3rd season: Qualify for the Champions League and have my squad set up.
SR67
I brought in four players however Souttar - dubbed the next Colin Hendry - went back to Dundee Utd on loan. Zivkovic and Gauld will play for the u21's this season mostly and might get a debut in the second half of the season. Townsend was one I brought in for the first team to offer some competition for Mirallas.
This complies with the boards policy of singing young players. I had a total of £14m to spend along with £190k p/w free for wages after a few a sales.

A great pre-season for us, it gave me the chance to mess around with tactics and rotate the squad.
SR67
Going with a fast, direct, pressing 4-5-1 as it suits the squad best the now. I hope to eventually go for a short passing, slow tempo with space in front of the players. I've got the centre/attacking midfielders passing it short with the younger players learning to dictate the tempo.
SR67
A good start to the season for us, we took 7 points from 9 and progressed in the Capital One Cup. Lakaku got off to a great start to his loan scoring in his first two games.
SR67
Another good month excluding the loss to Sunderland. Man City played most of the game against 10 men, Lakaku scored and own goal and the got the equaliser on the 85th minute from a corner. Ouch.
SR67
A tough tie coming up in the Capital One Cup. If we can beat Man Utd then I reckon we have a good chance of winning it.

Cheers mate , would be interesting to have a versus match after a few season.
SR67
Not a good month but we finished it strong. I've been continually making small adjustments to the tactics to get it how I want it for now, slowly getting there.
Tip: Using man marking corner at corners seems to get more fouls against the other team.
SR67
A lot of shock results in the last round, if we can beat Chelsea here surely we must go on and win it.
SR67
I've now got my midfield sorted. I swapped my ball winning midfielder with a defensive central midfielder and all the midfielders are playing short passes, excluding Barry as I want to just let him play his natural game. The tempo is still fast, but now I have Mirallas slowing things down a bit when he gets the ball.
The next thing to do is to concentrate on the defence.

Cheers mate!
Some inconstancy from tweaking the tactics but I can deal with that.
SR67
We should have beat Hull but responded well Norwich, Lakaku getting his firs hat-trick. I didn't really expect to beat Chelsea and finished well against Southampton.
SR67
I don't want to do too much in January but with Nikica Jelavic requesting a transfer I will need a new striker.
Kieran Gregory

Cheers
I didn't really want to but in all honesty he wouldn't have played much. Then he would end up complaining, I contemplated keeping his as a mentor for Stones but then I got a bid.

Cheers Jack, hopefully we can put a decent run together.
SR67
A good run to end the year. We came back from 2-0 down to beat Man Utd, 2-1 down to beat Liverpool, 1-0 down to beat Chelsea and West Brom. What a month for the comeback. This leaves us just four points of a Champions League space.
SR67
I wouldn't have minded getting the easier draw and facing Brighton but I think we can beat Newcastle, if you look at the teams we've beaten to get here were in with a shout.

Cheers mate Hopefully we can lift some silverware this season.
SR67
Brought in three players for the first team. First was Norwegian centre back Forren who looks like a long term replacement for John Heitinga, followed by Everton fan Lewis Holtby to provide competition for Ross Barkleyand then Badelj who will take over from Leon Osman.
A few players left to raise £15m. The only player I didn't want to leave was Jelavic but he handed in a transfer request.
SR67
A month that was hot and cold. Can't seem to put a sting of wins together. Rested too many players for the FA Cup match and paid for it but I was more interested in the semi-final. I have no excuses for the Cardiff and Fulham matches.
We dropped from 4th at one point and now sit six points off a Champions League berth.
SR67
We face West Ham at Wembley on the 2nd of March 2013 to play it out for the Capital One Cup.
