Hope Akpan with three assists in a row now.

Still surprised we let him go, he had loads of potential.

We did that the hard way, but it's exactly the sort of performance we put on right after we already know our rivals have dropped points- don't know how Fulham away is going to go now.

So you let them go, or when you open the cage to feed them they somehow fly out past you. And the part of you that knows it was wrong to imprison them in the first place rejoices, but still, the place where you live is that much more drab and empty for their departure."

The thought of him playing against Blackburn in terrifying enough.

I think he might be okay for that one.

He wasn't as awesome as Cantona so he doesn't get the honour of a long ban like Cantona.

Eric was like a white Bruce Lee.

Epic fail to not increase his ban. They are condoning the action by not increasing it

Big game against Stoke tomorrow. We need to win after the disappointing performance in midweek. Here's the team I'd start with;

Szczesny
Jenkinson - Mertesacker - Vermaelen - Monreal
Diaby - Wilshere
Walcott - Cazorla - Podolski
Giroud

Monreal probably isn't 100% ready to go just yet, but our only other options would be playing Santos or sticking Vermaelen out on the left. I'm beginning to think Koscielny deserves a shot in the first-team due to Mertesacker's recent poor form, but the considering the way Stoke play - little pace, long balls onto the box, a reliance on set-pieces - we could do with a 6'7 giant in amongst it all. I'd also like to see Jenkinson given a go on the right as Sagna's been awful recently. We could do with Diaby back in the middle for such a physically demanding game, as I don't think Ramsey is up to it in that holding role. Might be a risk with Diaby's lack of fitness though.

Sagna's been shite since last season, plus he wont sign a new deal either, Jenkinson now looks more than ready to step in and should imo be playing ahead of Sagna already.

Arsenal: Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal, Diaby, Arteta, Wilshere, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Walcott, Giroud.

I'd have liked Ramsey to play too, is so much better in his proper position in the middle. Have to win today especially as its against the inbreds.

I've also only just that we are 21 points behind Man Utd, yes thats right, 21 POINTS already. We really have been fucking terrible.

I like Ramsey but we can't risk using him as the holding midfielder against a team like Stoke. They'll bully him all game and capitalise on any mistakes made in the middle. Delighted that Arteta's back, huge for us.
