This file is intended for FM13.3, and will need to be re-applied if/when patches/updates are released to ensure full compatibility. This is due to the fact that some files which are removed when installing this file are re-installed when patches come out.
Magrippinho very helpfully created a YouTube video on how this file should be installed. Some of the contents are different - but the procedure is identical.
Or, you can follow the below instructions to install this file:
Step 1: Go to
PC
Step 2: Delete the dbc, edt and lnc folders from the folder above
Step 3: Copy the dbc, edt and lnc folder from this download into the folder mentioned in step 1.
Step 4: Go to:
Step 6: Keeping the folder in step 5 open, go back to the file you downloaded and open the folder named "editor data files".
Step 7: Copy the 30 files in the folder from step 6 into the folder mentioned in step 5.
To check if the file is working, go to the Champions Cup and EURO Vase, and they should be renamed to Champions League and Europa League respectively. If you are in the middle of a save-game, German national teams will be populated in the next instance that players are called up, and not instantly.

Have been looking in here now and again since you said these files were going to be updated, I really appreciate all this work.
At the top of the page it says that the file was last updated on the 4th November - so is the file the new one and can it be downloaded.
No worries if it's not - I dn't mind waiting until it's ready.

As explained repeatedly throughout the thread, if you apply these files in the middle of a save game, the German national team will be populated with real players the next time players are called up.

when playing the game in Dutch, some belgium price names are not translated into dutch, but are french.
like fe "supercoupe" must be Supercup.

Just one thing; Do the long names of Portuguese clubs show correctly in your games? The short names are altered as intented with the files, but the long names are automatically set to the same as the short ones. Seems to be "locked" somehow, as it can't be fixed with the editor either.

I meant to amend the installation instructions to reflect the change in editor data files, but I forgot. Thanks for reminding me.
The answer to both your questions is yes
Anything you want fixed, give me the particular details.
After the beta file was released, Nik33 contacted me to ask for the file to be exclusive to his download and I reluctantly removed it from the link after a couple of days. With the change in dbc file between FM12 and FM13, most of it doesn't work anyway, so you can safely remove it.
I believe this is a licensing issue exclusive to Portuguese teams, and there's nothing which can be done
Yes, there's some very minor issues but I'm overall very happy with the way media files are working now.
