Hey guys,

so I picked this old guy up for my team as an Assistant Manager because Steve Bould isn't that great and this guy has fantastic attributes for this position.
But after signing him I noticed that his bar in the "Staff Roles" section is quite low respectively the lowest. (https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/R7ahZsetjGjFAdzlZUls8N2S0d3zkyhvinL5xsoa.jpg)

So does this matter? What do these bars even mean? Do they display a persons interest in a staff role? Show how used he is to this role and therefore should increase with time? Or is it his ability to do this job and I have made a big mistake picking him up?
(I thought only the attributes matter for certain things. Like motivation for team speaks, tactical knowledge for opposite team instructions etc.)

It's how much they prefer that role, so it shouldn't affect how good he is at the role.

As above. Only seems relevant when you're looking to bring them in. For example more likely to get your example as a Head of Youth Development than an Assistant Manager (although you've still managed!)
