Started off at Boston United (the only American team in the league) and had a very promising start. The 2014 season was very much an overachieving one and managed to sneak promotion via the playoffs. It really was too much too soon as we were instantly relegated the next season. While we did get off to a decent start and were above relegation after Christmas a long run of defeats and draws saw us get sucked into the relegation zone in the 2015 season and we never really recovered. Unfortunately the board didn't realise how much we over-achieved the previous season and promptly sacked me. A brief saunter to the job office and I landed the job at Chesham who barely have a squad to put on the pitch.

Who knows what the 2016 season holds but it can't be much worse than the season before.

Interesting how you've done so far, hopefully you are successful with the new club!

First session at the new club isn't looking too grand. Twelve games in and only one win to show for our efforts. Whilst we're able to score goals we can't seem to stop leaking them either which is proving very frustrating!

Season goes from bad to worse with draws, let alone wins, hard to come by. Despite efforts to adapt tactically to the strengths of the players it seemed nothing could make them play like a team. I decided that it would be best to fall on my sword and look for greener pastures and allow someone else to come in and attempt to salvage something for Chesham before things become impossible.

Edit: Just reading about the unemployed bug... perhaps I shouldn't have resigned. Will give it a few more months but this save may be done if I can't find a new job. In other news Chesham could only muster 3 more wins and were relegated.
