Apparently Cabaye told one of our fans he's off to PSG, not Arsenal.

The picture that quote came with was taken 3 months ago, guy is trolling.

However, I do hope it's true

I have a feeling it might be PSG, not us.

Unconfirmed reports that the Bale deal has been done as well.

David Ornstein's pretty clued up when it comes to Arsenal but I just can't let myself get excited after how this window has been. I would be fucking delighted if we got one of them though.

Surely Real wouldn't sell Benzema as it'd leave them with Morata as their main striker? Unless they'd resurrect the Suarez interest?

I doubt they have money for Suarez as they're in for Bale.

They're getting the Bale money back by selling us Ronaldo, obv.

We buy Benzema, they buy Suarez. Everyone's happy, apart from Liverpool, which would be awesome.

Yeah cause we'd sell our main goalscorer and not bring anyone in

Balague says Bale to Madrid will be confirmed in a few hours.

Hours after a lot of people said the same thing, so at least he knows he isn't going to be wrong.

After Bale joins I suspect we'll finally get Falcao after that down payment we paid..

You've been trying to get his replacement all window, you feel, but everyone has turned you down. Mkhitaryan, Costa and Willian seem to be the sort of money you'd have floating around to replace him.

In other news:

Everton have said we haven't gone back with another offer, I genuinely think I could do a better job than Woodward.

At least the fact you've waited until you've basically secured Champions League football and then gone hard for players shows some semblence of a plan, Woodward just seems to be walking around aimlessly throwing rubbish bids at random players.

I didn't say you wouldn't bring anyone else in, but if we get Benzema and Madrid get Suarez then I couldn't give a shit who Liverpool buy. Whoever it would be, they'd be a huge downgrade.

Croatian news website quoting Modric: "If the clubs agree I'm ready to come to Manchester United"

Link.

Also Woodward's rumoured to be in Madrid, but we all know that's for Ronaldo.

They weren't being bought as replacements. We've made a profit so far this window on transfers, and cut down on our wage bill, the money is there to spend.

Would have thought that Alonso's injury would mean Real keeping Modric until Jan at least

The quotes are attributed to an International team-mate of his thats unnamed in the article.

It's probably bollocks.

However they do have Khedria, Casemiro and Illarramendi. I mean I'd be surprised if they sold Modric but they have other options aside him.

BBC say Spurs and Madrid are in advanced talks over Bale, and no deal will be announced before the Al-Sadd friendly tonight.

Also Goal.com say United have bid £35M for Fellaini and Baines.

Aye it's Raul's testimonial or something isn't it? They don't want to overshadow that.

Goal.com rumours are brilliant, what happened to Caught Offside as well? That site was ridiculous.

I could totally see Real Madrid going for the pure theatre of unveiling Bale at half time, it would be the sort of thing they would love.

Of course he will, you'd have to be clinically insane to turn down the money that's being offered.

I dont think it was ever in doubt that he would leave, both the club and player would be daft to turn it down.

I'm not sure the £1m or so profit this window, will quite offset the £80m or so of losses in the past couple of years
