Went to my first game of the season the other day, while it was nice to see us win the overall standard of play was pretty dire. This Hibs side is down there with the worst I've ever seen and St Mirren were even worse...

You seem surprised. St. Mirren are fucking rank.

You planning to come through for the game at Firhill?

Aye they were dreadful, Irvine Meadow gave us a tougher test a couple of seasons ago than that mob did.

My away days are more or less behind me, we've got friends through in Glasgow so will probably head through for the weekend in March and go to the game then but I won't be able to make it on the 7th.

Another away win for us then.

Just need to take Celtic down a few pegs to get that elusive first home win and i'm totally okay with that

Typical stuff from Lennon, b*tching about how physical Hibs were to deflect attention from how poor his side were in the final third.

Not sure whether to be nervous or excited for tomorrow.

Celtic are the biggest and best team in Scotland, defending champions etc. so it'll be a massive test for our players but if we can keep them at bay I think we have every chance of nicking something if Lawless, Doolan or Higgy are able.

That said this is the first time I'll be seeing us play Celtic in a competitive game, around 10,000 at the game will surely be a special day. After all, these are the games you look forward to.

Really enjoyed that game. Thistle played well but I thought we were good for the win, even if they scuffed wide a few chances though.

Horrible news about Fernando Ricksen.

It's good to see, however, that both halves of the Old Firm have came together for once and actually have been decent over this instead of petty point scoring.

Another former footballer with ALS? I remember hearing somewhere that it is more prevalent among former footballers than it is in the general population. It's been a pretty big issue in Italy because of Gianluca Signorini and Stefano Borgonovo.

It's a horrendous disease and I would not wish it upon my worst enemies.

Aye. Former Celtic player Jimmy Johnstone had it as well and seeing his decline was very sad.

Ricksen is just 37 and isn't long retired from football, what a dreadful situation for his family.

Whoever the Newcastle fan that keeps asking about Christie Elliot is, he bossed it against Celtic yesterday and was very unlucky not to score.

Hugely improved from last season.

Hibs could put the final nail in Hearts' SPFL coffin tomorrow.

Just when you think this season can't get any worse

Did anybody really expect us to win?

The way we're going we could have the Edinburgh Derby next season after all...

Aye he did, the original comment was from Jan there though

I've seen plenty of terrible Hibs sides over the years, but that performance yesterday was absolutely awful.

Aye, a couple of guys I know made the trip to the dark side of the town yesterday and said it was up there with that cup final and the Malmo game as the worst performance they've ever seen from a Hibs side. Can't say Butcher's really helping things, slating the players then making 5/6 changes after each game then slating them again when they lose isn't exactly going to inspire them.

Rangers accounts show the wages to turnover ratio is 99%. Mental.
