People buy CD's now?

As it is right now, you can't play any audio or video that's not purchased on the Sony Marketplace or whatever. Load of balls

Most people wont be at all bothered by that though, it has Netflix so im happy with that and i dont think ive ever put or listened to any music via my PS3.

Some of us are cheap and prefer to illegally download our media.

Was that aimed at me? or you just saying thats what you do?

Everybody downloads music/films illegally, if you own the internet its just something you do. If you say you don't you're lying.

I am one of the only people I know in my friend groups who does it. Half just pay and the other half pay as they have no idea how to do it.

I wasn't making out ive never downloaded anything but i don't do it any more, its just hassle to do it now. Much easier to just watch stuff on Netflix and listen to music on Spotify. If stuff isn't on there then ill just wait or buy it.

Music I've never downloaded because I always used to use Youtube and now I use Spotify. I use torrents for films because buying DVDs is pointless and most of the time I watch them before they are released here. I do go to the cinema, but nowhere near as much as I used to.

PC games are different, I torrent some, but buy others, which ones I do depends on the game. I very rarely buy new PC games because I don't have a gaming PC, so I tend to only play older games. If they're available on GOG I'll buy them, otherwise I pirate. I'll go through spurts of pirating seven games, playing them once and never playing them again. However if I pirate a game and like it I will never buy it, people who say they do that are far too common for me to believe.

I only do that with music i.e. I'd download the album, listen to it, then buy it on CD. Most of my CD's are still in their packaging cos of this

I do that with films constantly.

I've been broke so I haven't bought any films for ages, but I've bought tonnes of dvd/blu-rays over the years that I initially pirated.

Does anyone else feel like, it's still far too soon for next-gen consoles? Feels like yesterday when I got my PS3.

No. These consoles have lasted longer than the previous editions too.

The PS1 was launched in Japan in 94
The PS2 was launched in 2000
The PS3 was launched in 2006
The PS4 was launched in 2013

It's around the same length between each console.

So you and a load of other people have never once downloaded a file illegally? Give over, i'd say 1 out of every 100 have probably never downloaded anything illegally. Which on a much larger scale would'nt even validate your argument.

I remember loving it in the beginning, but then it just started getting repetitive, and the writing sucked ball-arse.

I felt physically sick when I tried to replay it. So fucking boring the second time round, moderately interesting the first time. Just don't drive anywhere, get your partner to do it.
