I wish I understood these drafts and that! Never really looked into it and its always stopped me playing in the MLS! love reading this though!

Looking good so far, might give it a go. Never tried MLS, so I'll probably fuck it up but I like the idea of building a full squad.

Don't let that discourage you, I'm hardly an expert and I'm doing pretty well. The only major difference to how the game is played is the salary cap, but if you're used to managing on a tight budget the adjustment isn't really that difficult.

I quite enjoy keeping my finances well and I'm quite tight when it comes to my salary so maybe the MLS would suit me but as someone pointed out above, all the drafts etc are putting me off slightly.

There's really only one draft to pay attention to, and that's the SuperDraft between seasons where the top North American newgens get selected. The other drafts are one for the crappy newgens who didn't go in the SuperDraft and then one draft with all the players that got cut before the season, both can be skipped without missing out on anything.

Then with NYC or Orlando you'd have the one-off expansion draft, but that one's just pure fun. Like picking your football team on a school playground.

After that I sold Nick Hagglund to Maccabi Haifa for $175k, his contract was running out and the acquisitions of Edcarlos and Alderson made him redundant.

Zach Loyd is a fantastic player for me everytime I play the MLS, keep up the great work.

I did the "You can't win anything with kids" challenge in the MLS yesterday. This is making me want to go back to it and carry it on like a normal career!

The David Villa show. He could've had two or three more. Not at all impressed with the team otherwise though. Really poor defending, for the 3rd match in a row.
