To combat our leaky defence I have decided to change my FBs into Complete FBs Attack. The best form of defence is offense.

Going to have to look at adding players in the mid-season transfer window too unless things pick up, I just can't quite put my finger on what it is we're missing as the goals have started to come but the wins are yet to follow.

Could it be your team settings that you're struggling to win games?

Looking for some mid-season additions, want myself a new GK, a new MC and a new CB. High demands? Yes. Necessary additions? Yes.

Will look to the loan market first as I only have £7k to play with, may have to look into the Australian market once more and fill my last foreigner slot.

Recent form is certainly an improvement but the table is far too tight for us to start busting out the confetti and Korean hymn books just yet. Need to avoid injury and continue bribing officials until safety is guaranteed.

Aye its surprising me too this season, I'm used to them conquering all before them relentlessly. They did some really solid business this summer so God knows what the cause behind it all is.

Who knows, if I finish the season strong and they chop their manager I could become the 64th favourite for the job.

3 of the 12 K League teams have foreign GKs, its against league rules to have foreign GKs, they are just sitting rotting in the reserves of their respective sides.

Good old FM.

Got the youth batch in and it was straight up abysmal, we're talking every player half star PA. I still decided to snap six up just for depth options next year, better than nowt.

What is the club youth facilities and recruitment like?

Minimal and limited, no money to up her either so I'm gonna have to wait for a new board to invest some money or pray I get lucky next year and land a half decent player or two.

Not the end of the world like, the loan market seems to be quite viral in Korea in FM15.

Not a bad run of form to drag us away from the mire, truth be told we should have finished with five wins in a row as we were 2-0 up vs Suwon and just capitulated. Still, lets not dwell, I think safety is all but guaranteed, we have an eight point cushion and enough in-form players to finish the job.

What do I attribute the good run of form down to? PERSISTENCE. I knew we were playing well in 90% of our games but things just weren't dropping our way, it took us a long time to find our feet but once we did we just kept rolling. I need to build again in the post-season and try to keep our core squad together. Only potential spanner in the works is I have a few contracts running out at the end of next season so I may have to sell a few first teamers rather than lose them on frees.

A great season it can't be denied, our totally awful start was completely forgotten once we got rolling. In the end we finished up 18 points better off than last season. It just took us a good few months to find some consistency and also some luck.

There will be changes to the squad as we do have a few tricky contract situations to resolve, I have just signed a new deal but I think I am open to moving on. If an interesting job opens up I will be applying for it.

Big improvement compare to last season.

The Pohang job is up for grabs, they have a good squad but I'm just not feeling it. The vibe ain't there.

On the Goyang front I'm handling contract extensions and also looking at bringing in a further three scouts. I want a better knowledge of Korean players, I think we're lacking a little bit right now.

That's the setup I've went for, all serve a purpose bar Kim Jae-Eun cos he's the shite scout I brought in from last year. I've decided to banish him to Uzbekistan due to his incompetence.

Rough start to the window, Cristaldo left, Jeju met the Canadian's release clause and all my primary targets accepted offers from other clubs.

Does the financial nonsense that you were complaining about in previous FMs still happen?

Hard to say since this is my first club in FM15, but I can note the following;

- The board are far more willing to keep budgets consistent even if you are in the red, this is a good thing and far more realistic than constant cuts even if you are trying your best to make money
- I already have the highest sponsorships in the league, this is silly
- I have a continental rep, this is silly
- I'm struggling like mad to shift players at any price, again this needs to be looked at

Overall I would say this is the best FM I've ever played, sure some old problems persist and undoubtedly I'll encounter a lot more as the season progress. The key to FM is to work around the game's deficiencies, for example to battle the constant player moaning I'm turning more to loans and signing up my youth intake for cover. I didn't have one player come to me last season to complain about a lack of playing time.

On the flipside I'm also managing at a relatively high level, in FM13 I was in the Portuguese third division for 30 or 40 seasons and I encountered problem after problem. The higher up you go in FM the less problems you'll stumble across.
