Love seeing Real lose. Also they have some real nob ends for supporters. I believe thats the 2nd time a fan has tried to attack Bale's car while hes driving past.

Real going for double figures against Granada.

4-0 at half time, 3 more within 10 minutes of the 2nd. 7-0.

Ronaldo has 4 including an 8 minute hat trick.

Cracking goal there from Messi.

Him and Ronaldo really are just unbelievable compared to anybody else around.

TBH the quality of the league beyond the usual teams is fairly ordinary, certainly helps the cause.

Ronaldo and Messi would still tear defences apart be it the Bundesliga or Premier League.

No doubt. Just probably not to the same degree that either have done in the past/currently do, particularly in the EPL.

Given the open nature of the Premier League they might do even better with all that space. How many would they get against the likes of Villa under Lambert, Crystal Palace under Warnock or QPR under Redknapp? Then you've got the likes of Hull, Burnley, Sunderland, Newcastle United. To be honest I don't think there's that much of a difference from La Ligas shite teams to the Premier Leagues shite teams.

There is, if only in the style of play.

Did anyone see Ronaldo getting booked for diving against Rayo yesterday?

Possibly the most blatant penalty you're ever likely to see and the ref was starting right at it, it was ridiculous.

As it is in the Premier League.

Don't delude yourself, La Liga teams consistently beat their Premier League counterparts when they go head to head. Just because we are familiar with the players that play for the lower clubs in the Premier League does not mean they are necessarily better. Thats not even to begin to mention the gulf in quality between the top Premier League teams and the top La Liga teams, if La Liga is considerably less competitive than the Premier League its because Arsenal, City and Chelsea aren't as good as Barcelona and Real Madrid .

The Premier League becoming 'more competitive' since the days of the Top 4 is directly to do with the worsening of the big teams rather than the strengthening of the smaller ones.

Messi isn't the type of player to dominate the Premier League. CR7 and Suarez are though. I doubt Messi could move country and be anywhere near as good.

Seeing as Hazard is on track to being POTY and has been in TOTY for basically every season and is a 'similar' player, I'd think Messi would do fine

Fine, maybe but Messi isn't doing fine in Spain, he is doing phenomenal (second only to CR7 in stats). I would say Hazard is better for my liking but I think Suarez is better than both.

My Dad loves Messi. Probably helps that he doesn't support a team other than Pat's though, so no real bias just likes 'watching football'. And who better to watch play football than Messi

Messi has had the luxury of that dream midfield behind him. Until he does it consistently without them then I won't rate him in the top players right now let alone ever.

I've also said for a long time that Suarez is better. He has done it on each stage that has he taken on and despite his onfield issues he does it and now he is doing it in yet another country.

Hes not doing it on Messi and Ronaldo's level though, I'd even argue he's not doing it at the level he shown at Liverpool currently

Just looking at the Wiki stats you could say Ronaldo's level As he has outscored Messi. Messi from 2004 has 276 goals in 307 games. whereas CR7 since 2009 has 214 in 197 games. 5 years difference and that is all there is. Just look at their records elsewhere as well.

Waste of time anyhow. The greatest forward ever is the real Ronaldo.

What dream midfield? Name the exact midfield you think is playing behind Messi
