Hi

I have the 7.0 Cut Out Player facepack installed fine and wanted to add the updated packs. I have downloaded and unzipped the first one and put it in my Graphics folder alongside my original megapack (not inside it). Just wondering if this is the correct way to do it or if theres something I have missed?

Cheers.

You want to overwrite the original one, not put it next to it. The folder structure should be the same.

When you merge them it should ask you whether you want to overwrite the ones with the same name, just say yes to all.

The updated pack is called 'sortitoutsi' when i put that folder into the original megapack it doesn't ask to overwrite anything it simply puts that folder into the megapack 7.0 folder. Or do I only copy over the 'faces' sub-folder in the sortitoutsi folder?

If you downloaded 7.0 via torrent the structure may be slightly different. Basically you want to merge the folders that have tons of .png files in them. You don't want two separate folders with lots of .png files in them.

NOTE: When merging make sure to be copying the update packs over the 7.0 pack and not the other way around.

Adding to what Rob is saying, you should have ALL the images plus config file in one folder and one folder only - whatever its name. You can name it sortitoutsi, megapack, faces, anything you want, BUT all the images from ALL the update packs must be in it and in that folder only, nowhere else. Should work that way

Thanks I have done that and the new images have loaded fine. The only problem I have found is that some players have blank spaces now when they used to have images. It isnt even a black outline of a face like on default but just blank. Just wondering why that was?

You have a config file somewhere pointing to a file which you have deleted. Do you have a sub-folder within the megapack folder or elsewhere perhaps?

There are no sub folders the megapack folder is just filled with images. I Cntrl + A the images in the face folder in each update pack and copied it over into the megapack folder

How many images in total do you have in your megapack folder?

Well there are 163215 items in the folder, basically all the original megapack images + 4 of the five updated file packs. Is it something to do with the config file? When i copied over the update images I also copied over the config files on each of these files.

Given that my megapack folder has just under 159k images, it seems like you have got a good few extra images.

Send me a PM and I'll try and sort it out for you...
