Not to sound dense here, but I am new to football manager - I thought there was no way to install/update goalkeeper kits or did I miss a memo somewhere?
Also quick question regarding kits - do these kits overwrite the current season ones, or for example will they show up under the correct year when I view club history?

Yes the kits will overwrite the kits you have right now. Each graphic (kit, face, logo etc) has a unique ID number. So when you drop in the relevant files into the relevant folders (which are explained in any of the add on graphics forums) those new kits, or faces or logos will replace your current ones. Hope I've explained clearly enough.
The kits won't show up in the Club History. These retro kits are usually/or can be used to accompany Retro Databases. Again you can find out all about them in the relevant Forum.
